Hello sir. May I first say that you did an awesome job on this cover and really captured everything that makes this song so epic! I am a huge Amon Amarth fan, and have seen them live many times. As a fellow guitar player I was wondering if you had any tips on playing this sort of rhythmic style. I grew up playing mostly lead guitar and my rhythm playing has suffered. I find it difficult to do a lot of gallop picking. Besides the obvious, practicing, do you have any tips on gallop picking?

If you are not playing live, almost every guitar can be used for metal.

For live it shouldn't have single coil pickups, because of the feedback.

@BMXshark If you're sure about playing metal and really want to do it and need better sound you really should. You won't be happy with this guitar. And putting some sctive dual coil PUs into that thing is blasphemy to both, the guitar and the pickups ^^

In the long run you'll be happier with a guitar that's made for this kind of music.
