I always liked this song, and while I never got into Macross (not for any particular reason), this is an extremely well composed video that KICKS ASS!!! Great fun to watch; favorited. Thanks for sharing.
The F-14 Kai seem to be alot more manueverable and even faster than the modern F-22 Raptor I think it could shoot down a raptor without any problem in a dog fight not to mention fly circle around it

Exactly. F-14 Tomcat is the best plane ever. I like how the VF-0S is modeled after the F-14. Transformers suck. This is Macross Zero. You check out the rest of the Macross chronology as well. But gundam was ok but I like the old gundams. The new ones suck badly
The new Gundams do suck, I pretty much hate everything outside the original UC series. UC seemed alot more practical, smart, political, yet still managed to stay technologically flashy, but not over the top, especially 0080 and 0083 where the human elements were most important. I'm somewhat hard on Macross to though. I honestly hate Macross 7 and while I did enjoy Macross Frontier, it lacked the maturity and poise of SDF Macross and Macross Zero, and of course nothing beats Macross Plus.
Macross continuity : Macross Zero (prequel), Super Dimension Fortress Macross, SDF Macross : Do You Remember Love? (a retelling of SDF Macross), SDF Macross : Flash Back 2012, Macross Plus, all of Macross 7, Macross Frontier.

A little lesson: ROBOTECH is just the Americanized version of SDF MACROSS (( the original name of the Japanese TV series for those less enlightened )) Who gives a flying frack about what is the real story or not, because when it boils down to it anyone who watches Macross wouldn't know how they got the planes that transform into robots without watching Robotech.
