One of my favorite SCI-FI films of the 70's (along with Alien, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Moonraker etc). The acting was perfect. D.Sutherland and Brooke Adams were brilliant but I loved Jeff Goldblum and Veronica Cartwright the most - amazing screen couple. I guess this film inspired The Hidden (1987), Body Snatchers (1993), The Arrival (1996), Mimic (1997), The Faculty (1998), The Lake (1998), Slither (2006), The Invasion (2007), tv show Invasion (2005) etc. It deserved a sequel
This movie is freaking brilliant and the ending left me creeped out for days. Nothing beats 70's films for style, I think. Understated and disturbing The thinkin' mans zombie movie. Although STOP SMILING SPOCK. Loving these videos, you keep reviewing movies I like and saying what I think :)
I really want to see this one. I've never seen this version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I fell in love with the shooting style when you described it. I want to try that myself. It just sounds like a really cool idea. And an awesome weird cast indeed. Looking forward to Apocalypse Now.
Another that I have not seen. Sounds like a great cast. It's kinda ironic that as I am typing this I just finished watching Star Trek II a Leonerd Nimoy movie and the movie I saw just before that was the Fly a Jeff Golblum movie.
For the next one I guess Apocalypse Now. Another movie I have not seen. It's funny how I know a little about movies I have not seen. If I am correct on my guess.
