DAMIEN: It's called a Steel Guitar, but it lays flat, on legs, like an elevated piano bench, can have 1 to 3 'necks' and is played with a steel bar & metal finger picks. The 'Dorbro' is a guitar looks like a spanish or folk-acoustic guitar, but made from metal and is usually used in bluegrass bands, strung over the shoulders with a strap, but turned up side-ways (flat) & played like the aforementioned Steel Guitar.

BTW: Music's gone down-hill because no-talent jerks have invaded the business.

nothing against Santo and Johnny, I love to hear them play. But it is hard to beat Glenn Miller on this one, it was his signature song. Big band music in general is hard to beat. For a real treat, get the DVD "The Glenn Miller Story" and watch it. It has great footage of Fletcher Henderson, Louie Armstrong, Tommy Dorsey, not to mention a great story line. Worth the watch...
