Good News, The art director of this game said that he added fan favorite classic villains in the game, so we aren't only going to fight robots, and they created all new villains exclusively for the game. There will also be more than 2,000 buildings in the game, and the highest speed for spider man's web-swinging is fast enough to get to the other side of Manhattan in 5 minutes.

And targeted towards kids? no, for example the movie, it is evenly for adults too, not mainly for kids, that's nonsense. Go to comic con and you see adults and teens at the spider-man section, not little kids under ages of 12. if they made a hardcore game it would drop people then bring A LOT MORE PEOPLE IN. but it's a risk. :P i liked spiderman since i was 6, im nearly 15.

No offense (And i`m not trolling) but i never liked where he was fighting robots or drones. In my mind the closer to a robot he should fight is Doc Ock`s Tentacles. The Spider-slayer for example was where it became too much of giving him a big villain to fight.

Seeing as its based around the film a couple of Lizard men drones, Mysterio, Scorpion or Electro would have been interesting. Oscorp drone robots being one of the main villains... meh, doesnt suite my style of gameplay to be entirely true

This robot plot may just be a side story in the game, while other plotlines deal with things related to the movie. We'll just have to see in later trailers, really...

If we've learned anything from the crap games from beenox do involve plenty of villains for Spidey and that was one of the only good points they had. so im sure we will see many villains plus random thugs for fun. Also if this is for the movie Im sure they are putting Lizard in it plus since proto goblin was taken out of the movie maybe they'll put him in the game. :)

Web of Shadows was indeed the last game in the Spiderman franchise that had a city you could swing all over without boundaries. So while the storyline might be different the actual gameplay is very similar to Web of Shadows. Personally, I can't wait!
