  • You are one cool dude... Optimism rules!! Ha!

  • Way to keep it on a positive note. Believe me, I know it can be tough when "things" are going on. Wait... why do you have a hard time swallowing? :(

I love people, friends, family, too! :) I tend to find meaning and appreciation in simple things, too. ♥

  • @annspade I have a pocket of skin in my throat from the plate and esophagus tear. It gets fixed on the 18th!!

  • @Pinkcrusader Oh good!! I've never heard of that. Glad to hear you'll be fixed up. :)

  • really uplifting and insightful video...........we tend to live a life of excess and we keep wanting more and more until we forget to really appreciate the simple and really important things in life. when you live simple small things become significant

  • @AY1ND3 yes and I think, imo, that people who find the small things significant are the most happy among us.

  • I liked watching this a lot :-) And I found the background music very soothing ;-) I'm ready to sleep now.

  • @mettesally Thanks it was soothing or at least I thought so. glad you agree :)

  • Generally, I think only suffering makes life not worth living.

Then again I don't consider dying something to be in fear of.

That's probably why I'm so solitary.

  • @saquist Me either. Dying doesn't frighten me. Being in pain does though. I'd like to avoid that lol.

  • @Pinkcrusader

    LOL...yeah my thoughts EXACTLY

  • :-)

  • So true. Good advice here.

LOL re: "And I... don't... really."

I feel the same way about my hubby and karaoke.

  • @Elaina43 Yes but I bet you have many fond memories of him singing very badly and looking corny and ridiculous.

  • @Pinkcrusader The thing that makes me sorta bitchy is that HE sings really well - he's a baritone and only looks ridiculous when the place makes him wear a viking hat or something 8‹D One of my all-time fav memories is of him singing "It's a Wonderful World" to me (and 100 or so other people) I'm the one he has memories of singing badly - very badly - and looking silly (I once sang the theme to "The Love Boat" ;‹)

  • @Elaina43 Hey what's wrong with a big Viking helmet? He should wear that all the time haha.

  • @Pinkcrusader I sorta agree 8‹D

  • good to see the pink crusader intro is back

  • @Clivesvlogs :)

  • Its just unfortunate that those needs arent being met but I guess then that is the meaning is that pursuit I guess from those needs and living them out. And the fear I guess that is I can never reach those needs and if I did reach those needs, what then... where to go from there? Will I then be satisfied? Maybe its not about that at all, but makes me think more and thats the time where I got to stop thinking so much so I will definitely live for that pursuit then. Thank you for that direction.

  • Thanks Tim. Ah, it is so nice to have good friends on here and I just am happy that you put the thought into what I asked. Your words really help and in that theres a reason to live. I remember when you and I had some back and forth conversations about different perspectives on the worth of living and putting meaning into things. I think you right, once you realize what we need then that need is the reasons to live.

  • @ouREvilone Right, it helps put things into perspective as well. If we know what we need we know what matters to us. And all the silly aspects of life just don't get to us as often. Once we know our needs we can better appreciate our wants when we get them. And not worry so much when we don't.
