  • at 3:35 break point rosewall's return so on the line ...and ... called out...

  • After reviewing the video again, I withdraw my previous comment.

  • I think Newcombe had the best second serve of any player who ever played the game - relative to the era in which he played, of course. Right after him comes John MacEnroe.

  • no one can judge Rosewall`s performance in this match as a lack of effort. players of all kinds have bad days on court, some have low intensity at play due to previous match intensity. these are only some factors that affect players physically and mentally Newcombe was just better on that particular day

  • @circuitdesign. One of things that Ken would try to do was the "mope-a-dope" technique. Where he looked apathetic but bait you to come down a level. He caught Newcombe at this in the 1974 Wimbledon.

  • @circuitdesign You don't know what you're talking about.

  • its such a shame that Rosewall never won Wimbledon, Unbeleivable actually

  • @goolagong68 4 of em... tragic for sure... ken is the real GOAT

  • @goolagong68. True with Pancho Gonzales and Segura.

  • @goolagong68 yes, it is very unfortunate, but it has happened to other players as well in other tournaments. i m sure he`ll always feel nostalgic about that special place during his career.
