By far better than Whitney's. Whitney's was amazing too of course, but Whitney was not able to sustain the notes like Faith which is why Whitney went falsetto so often in her rendition. Both are amazing, but I give an edge to Faith. RIP Whitney.

Faith Hill singing the National Anthem at the Superbowl in Atlanta. I remember just thinking, "WOW". She nailed it. She looked amazing, she sounded great and HELLO>>>she knew the words. She put a lot of emotion into her performance without sounding like a drama queen. I was so proud to be a FH fan that day and so proud to be American.

Yes, Faith Hill is awesome. I was there on the field during her performance at the Superbowl. I was a dancer in the pregame show. We just finished our routine right before Faith Hill sang. While it is actually Faith Hill singing, what you are hearing is a pre-recorded Faith Hill - Faith Hill had to lipsync to herself during the actual performance. Back then (year 2000) they didn't let any performers actually perform live.
