Thanks, i found out about those shortly after, but can't find much info on them on wiki. The first sequel I read is more light and concentrates more on love/comedy, and the 2nd one I have no idea... the 2 sequels coming out within a few months of each other worries me. Do you think either one could become an anime as a 2nd season without being called a spin-off?

@Yoshi17th it's a direct sequel to the anime series set a few months after the last episode.

Regarding the sequel games, first one is a comedy based one so anime of that would be a spin-off. The second sequel however, is an extension of the True End of the original game. so yes of that one they could make a perfect fine season 2.

Hope this answers your question, Do not that there is also a steins;gate movie coming out. The movie will show new footage and won't be a recap.
