This is the striking resemblance of final boss music as Ninja gaiden Shadow for Gameboy!

It is the same tune, the Gameboy one is just extended.
Legend has it Tecmo bought Natsume's port of Shadow of the Ninja to the Game Boy and reworked it into "Ninja Gaiden Shadow".
All the flair of the BGMs not remixed from previous Ninja Gaiden and the game's style itself really makes me think that's true.
