@roryg68 Actually, not all civies leave their towns/villages.. Most of them are to scared to leave as it could cause more crossfire's and kids being hit by stray bullets/shells. So they decide to either stay and be bombed/killed or run and still have that risk. They are unsure where is safe anymore..im speaking from firsthand view not just over the net. Was on tour out there last year!

First off, what are the chances of the Taliban returning to a captured weapons cache? Secondly, do you think the Taliban would refrain from sending a civilian/child to check it out first? Also, if our lads leave a booby trapped weapon cache, they have to stay and keep eyes on it, to stop the wrong people opening it, to make sure it's not disarmed and used, and more than likely to finish the job. They simply don't have time to do this.
