ack! I'm extremely jealous! Did you get to speak to him? Or at least scold him for smoking?! ^_- Maybe it's a just a regular thing he does when he's shooting, seeing as how stressful that job is! ^_^

Yes, he does seem like a really nice guy!(Well, maybe not so nice when it comes to bullying Bruce Campbell ^_-)I mean, for one thing, i've never known a director address journalists as 'sir' before! And I've read somewhere that he would apparently ask by-standers of their opinion of a shot!
I don't want to appear nosy (which I am I'll admit) but did you get to ask him any questions at all?

But here's the cute part: he acts like he's ashamed of it - you'll rarely ever see him do it, and when somebody once mentioned Sam smoking a cig, Sam joked, "thanks for telling everyone i smoke" like he didn't want people to know :-P
