When my 105lb ex-girlfriend used to hit me(190 lbs), I couldn't defend myself or I would have been arrested for domestic abuse. I couldn't call the cops because I was too embarrassed. Who can't control themselves?? I've seen more women hit men than I've seen men hit women. Men just happen to leave bigger bruises. Just sayin...

There are women's shelters, plenty of funding and government help for women in domestic violence. Are women going to continue to be perpetual victims, is nothing going to stop them from getting involved with violent men? The vast majority of men are not violent, why do those women CHOOSE the violent ones?

My father was violent to my mother and she stayed for 18 years, and instead of leaving she took it out by being violent to me. She could have left, but she didn't.

@Monad01 Well if they have kids, like my mom had 4, and they dont want to live like that, some rather their kids watch their mom get beat and they dont want them to live in shelters. Some women are to stupid to open their eyes, some claim they love eachother, and others claim they can change that person, Honestly it depends on the person.

Woohoo Pittsburgh! I want to see a video someday though that talks about what a person could do on the individual level to prevent domestic violence. Like, how can I keep myself from becoming violent? And what do I do if someone else is. Good video, though.
