@MrMaverickstar No, I thouht I had once - a bright light moving irratically in the night sky - appearing & disappearing. Very convining. I was at an astronomy club meeting & we had about 20 witnesses. We all got very excited. So we opened the dome & trained the big telescope on it. It turned out to be a heliocopter hovering over a refinary training 15 km away its searchlight on a fire that had broken out.
We got lots of sightings from the public but they were planets, weather balloons, etc.
