  • Stupid Ukranians.

  • @Tabsinlab Agreed. Too stupid to fly them anyway.

  • Looks like a cockpit from Starwars

  • All the thoughts on color are funny. That is the color of aluminum primer. Painting more added weight and cost. It was only finished in primer not because the soviets thought it calmed the pilots but because it was cheap. Look at pictures of US planes being built and they are primed the same color but then get paint to cover the primer. It is Zinc Chromate and protects the aluminum.

  • @avalonhb Wrong.

  • @0:25+ there is a Kitchen!!!!!!!!!

  • Interesting, thanks for sharing this!

  • What Simulator is that? Very Real :O

  • Were is the bathroom?

  • @eriksic well, there is a door behind the rear controller, which leads to the bomb bay and the rear gunner's mount, so it might be in the back, it would be cool if the interior was black with a Thales aircraft brushed aluminium interior with 2 massive plasmas!!!!

  • Nice walk-through. Who decided that all soviet bloc aircraft had to have pukey green cockpits, though??

  • @aaron8862006 well, the green is there probably to see the gauges better, if it were black and they were flying in the night, they might get the gauges mixed up.

  • @harris3693 - And if it were a natural grey tone, it would be the least distracting to the eye while providing a balance of favorable contrast...

  • @aaron8862006 you must also realize that if you are flying in cloudy gray russian skies, you could loose orientation as to which way is up or down, so for safety, many aircrafts (including some USAF aircrafts) use green paint to prevent misorientation.

  • @harris3693 - That's a pretty weak reason... If you're using the color of the cockpit to determine flight attitude, you must have some deadly problems with your aircraft. Hehe.

  • @aaron8862006 It is not for altitude, it is to prevent disorientation (vertigo) in bad weather or in combat situations. the Japanese also used the same technique when assembling the aircraft.

  • lucky you,I hope I'm gonna get to see one too some day.Really,do you happen to kow why Russian cockptis share this blue-like color?

  • Exellent tour, my friend! You are very lucky to get such a inside view of a remarkable airplane.

  • The basic layout of the cockpit and interior just serves to convince me that this is an updated B-29. Not the entire plane but some of it is a defenite copy.

  • It is OK that Ukraine has TU-95's in museums, but I am happy that Russia uses them for ALCM platforms. Russia must maintain many strategic weapons systems so that the US, UK, NATO, Soros, NWO elite do not carry out "humanitarian" interventions whenever the Russian army needs to clean out Islamo-terrorist cells. If you think that Russia would maintain its sovereignty without credible strategic weapons, you are dreaming or are an enemy of Russia. Russia= one last block against NWO fascist control.

  • @bboucharde: If you think anyone is crazy enough to attack Russia, then you have no idea what it means to get embroiled in such a mess. Everyone who attempted it in the past, lost. Only two certified nuts did that in the last 200 years: Napoléon and Hitler, and both lost disastrously. NO ONE in his sane mind is thinking about attacking Russia. Not only the land is enormous, not only the weather is overwhelming, but the Russian "dushá" inside each soldier is invincible. Russia needs no more.

  • @kurchatov324 We both agree. There is no argument, EXCEPT you must learn that men like Senator John McCain hold a certain level of power and influence in America. He represents the NEOCON and fundamentalist factions, who believe that America is exceptional over all other nations in history and is authorized by God to "liberate" the entire world. Many other Americans (like me) have studied Russian history for decades and are well aware that McCain is crazy. Keep a close eye on him & his cohort.

  • @kurchatov324 I hope you are aware that Hitler was inspired to attack the Soviet Union by reading American history and the saga of the westward expansion of White Americans for lebensraum and the subsequent genocide against Native Americans. Hitler thought of the Slavs as being inferior "Indians" who could be subjugated & enslaved. Of course, at Stalingrad, Leningrad, Kursk, and 100 other major battles, he learned that he had committed national suicide by attacking Russia. Tough lesson!

  • @kurchatov324 I couldn't agree more. If there ever was a 'limited' nuclear exchange between the east and the west (not to a level of MAD, if that were ever possible...somehow I doubt it!), the former Soviet Union would most likely have prevailed owing to their lack of reliance on extravigant infrastructure. Western societies do not fare well when forced to live on the 'bones of their arses'. However, that being said, let's hope this is NEVER put to the test.

  • I am hoping to visit the place again, as my wife is planning to visit home with our baby this year. However, the current flight fee (plus fuel surcharge) seems almost prohibitive for me to go with her. I will look hard for more reasonablly-priced flights.

By the way, my thoughts are for all the victims of the earthquake in the north-eastern Japan. People, please support them - not necessarily monetarily, but a few words (videos) of support must be good for them.

  • @paoliamishka Thanks for posting this. I really love this aircraft, and appreciate the details you show of the interior - very nice. I am from the USA living in Japan, and my son just started college here an will study Russian language and economics. Respect -

  • That's so cool!

  • Very, very cool and interesting video. It's great getting a peek inside the OPFOR's hardware.

    Thanks again for posting!

    Old Cold War Warrior.

  • Lucky! Interesting, there are throttle on the outboard sides of the cockpit and the engineers station(I guess). Must have been a rigging nightmare!

  • As for the colour, I think the reason is the same as that of the interior of the WWII Japanese aircraft painted in the similar colour. BTW, please visit my blog. I recently visited the open house at a nearby JASDF base.

  • The only planes I got inside was the C-130 (was lucky and had a peek at the cockpit, although the AF crew didn´t find so nice the public going there) and the DHC-4 Caribou.

  • why are all russian planes painted turquoise on the inside?? What a weird colour to choose

  • @weversonman same reason why all windows releases are with turquoise desktop color..

  • @Cnupoc but what is that reason?

  • @weversonman tbh i dont know i think it has something to do with colour recognition or something...

  • @weversonman The Russians believe that this turquoise, or blue/green colour has an indirect relaxing characteristic for the brain. Since flying can be stressful, especially in a combat airplane. Although, I haven't found any evidence to back this up. But that's why almost every Soviet Cold war airplane and I believe even some helicopters are painted that way.

  • Thats too bad Ukraine is putting this bomber down only for show. With just a few beef ups like our B-52's and this can potentially be as good as any bomber. With the Russians using MS versions it only has boosted backup to my statement. Great bomber with great potential but at least its not being totally scrapped and instead being used to show the past of history.

  • I think it is nice that they put it on display for all of us to enjoy. Ukraine do not really need a strike force as much as they would need gas and potatoes.

    Peace.

  • Чудесный и редкий внутренный вид этого удивительного самолёта!

Wonderful and rare inside view of this awesome airplane!

Maravillosa y rara vista interna de este asombroso avión!

  • Thanks for your response. Yes, it was a very interesting experience. I hope to visit there again when I go there next time. In the mean time, I am expanding my blog. Please visit.
