Personally, I think at this point in time, Nintendo just made these and stuck them in for a nostalgia hit for those able to hack the games. But I am %99 certain that by the time Diamond and Pearl came around and they had seen the the success of Fire Red and Leaf Green, they already knew they were going to remake Gold and Silver. I was very confident when they gave us so many hints in Diamond and Pearl :P

If you look in the files there are left over files for a lot of things in the Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald and there are boat tickets from other regions.

I can't just see why the creators of Pokemon can just make a game where you can travel all regions and I know Each region is long and your bound to level up your pokemon a 100 by that time so why don't they also change the maxing up level to 255 or 999? It's not that hard consider they made Diamond/Pearl a complete success

Why would they make a game with all regions? it would be good to play but then sales for the other games would go down if they made a big one and some people might not buy the next game that comes out as they are still playing the big one. And would all that memory be too much for the ds cartridge? Also imagine how many times you'd have to battle the elite four to get your pokemon to level 255/999. You'd get bored of the game. If you've got a pokemon to level 100 then just train another one

I'm with you about the sales going down but the things are now they just keep on making more generations of pokemon in new regions as they are doing now. As for the leveling up system for each region they go to, they can come across through stronger trainers and I'm sure by the end of the game they can surely get your level up by 255 plus don't forget about rematches. So you don't really have rely on the elite four.

This is only my opinion because I just simply want to play a game where I can atleast pick a character from either Johto, Hoenn, Kanto, or Sinnoh and encounter events and as much pokemon I can catch without relying an hour of trading non stop and just experience a long game.

No the Pokemon Gold Advance was just a rumor.

That statement about r/s/e being g/s/c remakes is not entirely true. They were supposed to be made like crystal. So you would start off in the hoenn region and eventually make your way back to johto then towards kanto. They felt that this would make the game way to long so they switched it up a bit. They added a whole new season full of pokemon instead of the originally planned 50. I got all of my information from one of the game designers.

R/S and emerald finished b4 i even realized it, it was such a short game. my party was inbetween 35-40 whereas in G/S/C, or even R/G/Y,my party was around 60-70. nintendo should start thinking b4 doing a game for a chance. they may actually come up with something good that way.

they ARE real, I used this hack thing to hack emerald, I was looking through the list of songs those songs were on the besides, I have a fire-red cartridge and some of the sevii islands and sevii islands routes have gs music such as Olivine City, Blackthorn City and Lake of Rage music, and they have to sound different because its a gba game so they'd have to make GBA music, besides most remixes of music sound slightly diff anyway, and this music sounds like Junichi Masuda's music style.
