@kaitokidfan3 You need a Virtual Gamboy Advance (VBA), Advanced Map, and a ROM of a GBA game. You load the GBA game into Advanced Map and edit it there. Use the VGBA to see your work.

There are tons of guides for hacking, you should check out TamashiiHiroka's channel, she is a good hacker and has uploaded some guides for hacking as well.
