It should be remembered that the paternal aunt of Shimr, Umm Banin bint Kharam, was the wife of Hazrat Ali (Karramallahu taala wajhah) and whose off-springs were Abbas, Abdullah, Jafar, and Uthman and all the four brothers were accompanying Imam Husain in this encounter. Thus Shimr was the paternal cousin of all the four brothers and also of Imam Husain (radiyallahu anh).

@Muslim1993100 well ur point is very irrelevant if you take it this way then abu lahab was prophets uncle and abu sufyan and all those who faught Him in Badr uhad were some how related to him so does that mean that Muslims killed hazrat hamza or the other martyrs? yh imam hussain was killed by shias but not the shia of ali but the shia of yazid there is a great difference btwn both of em. basically the word shia means follower.

This noha is based on a whole hadith

Apparently, there is a weighty sawab of saying :' faya laytani qunta ma a kum, fa a foozo ma' qum' (which is in the arabic bit of the noha)

which means: 'ay kash mein bhi hota meidaane karbala me'

Its sawab is equal to being as the ansar of al-Hussain (as) in karbala
