when you think of it, it is very unbelievable, this scene with these singers , because the tatiana couldnt have refused to elope with  with him:)))))

I stayed up till 3 in the morning just to watch this! I get to a certain point, at about 2am, where I am so tired that I just cry. Well, by the end of this act I was bawling, mostly just from being tired. I was like, "Don't do it, Tatiana! Eugene, you are a sleeze, you don't deserve her! But if you ran away together you'd be so happy...Wait, don't do it! Yes! No! Ugh!" It was pathetic =P

This is one of the best performences in opera EVER! They are the best!

but this is a clear response to anyone who would doubt his acting abilities. such sad sad expression... and he is a great singer, there are so few cds, dvds, at least too few for such a singer.he deserves more.

These two will go down in the history of opera. Two of the greatest singers working so closely and beautifully together. I think René and Dmitri are the best team in opera. I only pray that they continue to work together.

Let Russia and America be as good friends as these two artists.
