Hi Koren , you always make me smile SO much. I gave just re-found my love of cosmetics after being diagnosed with an illness a few years ago and feeling very frumpy and down. I have watched a LOT of your videos and decided a week ago I would cheer myself up by returning to my love of bright eye colours and fun application so I am awaiting LOADS of new products arriving . I am so pleased you enjoyed Scotland too as this is where I am from. Thank you for helping me re-disover what FUN make-up is!!

Hi Koren! You have helped me so much and my 6-year-old thinks she knows you now! About the 28-pan palette--What are the dimensions? Is it way bigger than the MAC 15-pan palette? What is in the inside-plastic or foam? And is the bottom already magnetized? If anyone else knows the answers, I would appreciate the help! Thanks! Happy New Year to all!!!

its bigger than MAC palettes as it fits 28 - the well tray is foam, not plastic, and the magnetic base is coated with magnetic pain - so your tin pans needs to be magnetic tin or has a thin magnet affixed to it.

I have my palette in front of me right now as I just got it in the mail and it's not magnetic at all... even with my mac shadows with the magnets on them, they fall out and I was silly and tested it out without putting my hand under because you said it would stick and my sunset b shadow fell out and smashed all over my floor... it's so broken now.

Yep I did email them and they said they don't have magnetic ones and that I just have to use sticker magnets and put them on the bottom of the pan so maybe you just got something special as a gift but they don't sell it because I asked!

Ah, Ok all my eyeshadow pans have magnet stickers on the bottoms - MAC comes that way. The tin pan alone will not stick to the magnetic palette without the magnet stickers because the tins are not magnetic.

Oh yes, I know! All my Mac shadows have the magnets on the bottom so that is what I tried in the pallette but after emailing them she told me I had to magnetize the palette and the shadows so that's why I had my sunset b smashed and broke (of course a limited edition, so sad) because only the shadow itself was magnetized, not the palette. Oh well, I ended up using it for my NYX shadows like pursebuzz recommends!! Love it like that.

I bought two of the magnetic palettes from starmakeuphaven and the bottoms were not metal. The pans wouldnt stick. Did you try putting the pans in the palette? Glad you are back.

You're suppose to have a magnet under your pans if you want them to stick :) That's why they work well with MAC eyeshadows.. They have a magnet :)
