@blakem375 That's pretty true. Honestly, I rather not assign anyone the label as a grunge god. A lot of guys can be considered that. Kurt Cobain is the most famous yes, but Mark Arm from Mudhoney pretty much inspired every grunge band after him. Layne Staley is considered to be one of the greatest singers of all time by his fans. Though Jerry Cantrell wrote most of AIC's songs, the ones he wrote defined what grunge songs are all about, my life sucks, angsty stuff. It's hard to choose really.

Grunge was terrible after a while. Every song and every band sounded the same. Imagine turning on the radio and having song after song after song all sounding the same. It was depressing. There were some good ones but most were garbage. No wonder it only lasted for a couple of yeras.
