The rs weighs just almost as much as the silvia but that sti motor and tranny is pretty heavy which makes it just a lil bit more. But unless that sr20 was built that sti should have got the silvia. If hes has the need for more horse and boost than what you can get with a factory vf turbo then he should have raped the silvia..

@MrKaoVue I was thinking the same thing, ive owned and sr20 swapped fastback 240 and i currently own a 99rs with a ej25 swap in it and upgraded i personally think both motors are the best to get they are virtually bulletproof. The rs with a sti motor and upgraded turbo should have pulled alot harder than that. not saying it should have won but it didnt look like it pulled hard at all... had a little front end lift. ii know weight was a major factor in this.

There's more to cars than going fast in a straight line. The 2.5rs is all about handling with suspension mods (you may not know this, but that thing you put your hands on in the car is called a steering wheel, it makes the car turn) and lots and LOTS of fun to drive. Cornering and handling is where it's when it comes to subarus. :) I own a 2004 wrx wagon, I LOVE it.
