afaik some people have trouble to like the female mainchara, because of her tomboy-thensuddenlyallannoying-attitude. after all I like the series much, and especially the design is full of love and attention. range murata designed so much , so well, and even drew the keyframes. not many anime get so much attention and care, its a bummer not more got into it .
THIS ANIME IS EPIC!!! IT'S A MASTERPIECE ALL OTHER ANIMES (in my opinion) PALE IN THE SIGHT AND AWESOMENESS OF LAST EXILE!!!!!!! THAT ART IS BEAUTIFUL AND WILL LEAVE YOU BREATHLESS!!!!!!!!! THE CHARACTERS ARE ALL INCREDIBLY WELL PLANED OUT!!!!!!!! AND DIO X LUCCIOLA ARE THE BEST MOST PERFECT COUPLE EVER INVENTED!!!!!! I CRY EVERY TIME I WATCH THIS ANIME!!!!!!!!!!! (i've watched it at least 32 some on times)
