A lot of people don't like Diana Ross, but like it or not, she had music in her soul. There was something special about her man. Tammi Terrell might have been better looking, no, she was better looking, and probably had a better voice. Here's the thing....maybe Pavarotti had a better voice than Sinatra....but who would you rather listen to? There's that "something" that some people have...she had it.

Diana Ross had a fantastic way of carrying a song. This rushed version does not give her the space or variation of arrangement to do her voice justice. The other Supremes could have been given much better arrangements - Isn't that right?

@SteveArpo I love this version of This Ol' Heart of Mine. This should have been a single for the girls. I love Mary and Flo's vocals.  Like angels from heaven! Their vocals give grand support to Diana's weak delivery.
