@bkuxop6 Look, I love the Soviet's just as much as you (I think Russian Tanks are waaay cooler than western ones) However, the Americans were not supporting an illegal terrorist Group. They were supplying the Mujahideen, Freedom Fighters. This was much like the Soviets did with the Viet-Cong in Vietnam. The Mujahideen were not the taliban, they were simply fighting for control over there land, granted they were the tunnel Osama used to gain power but that is a different story.

Winning, losing, supporting... doesn't make any difference. Nationalism is a dieing animal. It will take another few hundred years of useless bloodshed before the average human begins to understand this, but there is a growing number of people on this planet that know we are, and always have been, ONE World.
