@kiskorodi actually, a lot of people play those chords for this song but if you watch Lou play it you'll see he's playing D and G with E, G, E added during the verses so that's what i play. such a classic song and it's all true... little joe dellasandro and holly woodlawn are still alive. yes they are. and in their documentary "In Transit" there's this part where Ryan Gentles does a mock interview with Julian and he's like "well, we just ripped off a bunch of Velvet Underground covers basically" because when they first came around a lot of critics were saying that they were carbon copy of the VU or something. it's pretty funny.
