    ...oh, jules =)

  • @rottenlove420 but she never lost her head thx

  • sound quality isnt perfect but it captures everything important

  • Lou Reed was a massive influence on Julian's vocals.

  • @taxmonkey123 The sky is blue.

  • julian sounds just like lou reed

  • Love the guitar.

  • @ModernApple agreed, such cool rhythm going. If you know the chords let me know!

  • @dk212 i think it's just 2 chords F and C.

  • @kiskorodi actually, a lot of people play those chords for this song but if you watch Lou play it you'll see he's playing D and G with E, G, E added during the verses so that's what i play. such a classic song and it's all true... little joe dellasandro and holly woodlawn are still alive. God bless Lou Reed and God bless Andy's Factory 'Superstars'!

  • @markraymondatteberry hmm...i guess you're right then. love that all of his lyrics are sound like a true story. I bet he had an interesting life back then:)

  • ke re chimba!!!! huaaaa thats foucking awesome....I love it! really

  • I like how everyone only knows the words "take a walk on the wild side"

  • omg i just came in my pants

  • VIVA STROKES!!!

  • Vale, vale.

Saludos.

  • Lou Reed no está muerto...

  • so true!

  • so true!

  • xD

    yeah! xP

sometimes i hear The Velvet Underground and amazes me how similar Julian voice is!!! xP

  • I no Lou Reed and John Cales voices are so similar!

  • What a great song.

  • i love lou reed AND the strokes, so.... julian's voice is amazing

  • Heh the strokes guy's voice always reminded me of Lou Reed, guess its cause they're both from New York?

Funny hearing them cover this song then.

  • yes they are. and in their documentary "In Transit" there's this part where Ryan Gentles does a mock interview with Julian and he's like "well, we just ripped off a bunch of Velvet Underground covers basically" because when they first came around a lot of critics were saying that they were carbon copy of the VU or something. it's pretty funny.

  • i was at this show, pavillion is an awesome venue.wolfmother opened for them too and they were amazing

  • wow... greaat!! really

  • they playd that in melbourne too...i luv it!!!

  • he sounds so much like lou

  • They're heavily influenced by him and The Velvet Underground. You really can hear it in Julian's voice

  • I was there, amazing show!! Thanks for putting this up ;)

  • i loved when they played this song!!

  • Awesome!! I'm so jealous. :)
