@Yorkmum Sorry, it took me a while to get to reply, was on holiday in UK. *happy grin* All of the archive clips you see here are given to me by Martin Shaw fans who collected and kept them for years. The same applies to the old interviews. They trusted me to digitalize them and post them here to be seen by everyone who is interested in MS. So I in turn I take my hat off to them for their kindness and generosity!
OMG that is wonderful. You have such a complete collection of his film and tv work. I have now been able to see snippets of many performances that I'd only heard of. Thanks so much for sharing. <3
As I watch the time go by from the beginning of MS's career until today I see a truly fascinating man giving life to so many different characters. He's no one for the drawer where so many others live a contented life never showing any variation of talent.
Thanks for this intriguing collection and, of course, Happy Birthday, Martin Shaw - you are simply the best.
Martin Shaw chose not just this concerto, but also this exact interpretation when he presented his favourite music on Desert Island Discs - and yes, I too think it's outstanding.
Aw, you're making me blush... Anyone would be able to do the same if they had the films, the time and the patience (it takes some mental exersice to stay calm restarting Windows Movie Maker 150 times in 2 days, full Yogic breathing helps too:).
What a great compilation of Martin's works. You have done a beautiful job and I only hope he gets to view it. I'm sure he'd be impressed. It makes me feel worn out just watching all that he has done! Thanks for all your hard work.
Yes, it took quite a lot of time, but I enjoyed every second! If he really happens to watch it, maybe he'll see it not just as a tribute but also as an evidence of the dedication of the fan community - I was able to use very rare footage because many people loved him and cherished his work for so many years.
Such an amazing actor,so sorry I haven't seen all of his work though :-( still Martin Shaw is a terrific actor.Thank you so much for posting this.

Oh, far from complete... Most of his earlier work can only be watched in the British Film Institute, and some programmes are not archived. :(
Glad you liked the vid!

This is one of the best interpretations of the Vivace and Allegro sections I've heard so far. Impressive. Blends so well with the selection of clips.
Thank you as usual for your hard work and dedication.
PS. I've had to post again for the third time because my earlier comments were such goobledlygook. Apologies to everyone for the inconvenience

You have really excelled yourself with this one. It is a fitting 65th Birthday tribuite to a fine actor and a wonderful man.
It is amazing how he can change his looks from one character to the next so that you'd have trouble recognising him as the same man.
Happy Birthday Martin!!

I think I'd still recognise him if he pulled a binliner over his head ;-)

Oh yes! That gorgeous body has hardly changed over the years. :) It's the way he seems to change his face that gets me.

Yes, it's incredible how he transforms his appearance and gestures when inhabiting a new character!

I have enjoyed it incredibly, especially the bits in which I have never seen him before, being not an inhabitant of the UK.
Many happy returns of the day, for Martin and for all of his fans and admirers.
