For those of you that don't understand FAA Part 23 Certification and how incredibly rigorous a process it is, you will never be able to fully appreciate what Honda is attempting to accomplish by getting Honda Jet FAA Certified here in the United States. The level of engineering detail required to make that happen is beyond anything the auto industry has to date.
However, DO NOT forget that SAAB produced the JAS 39 Gripen, along with a dozen more aircraft, long before Honda got into this game.

I called BOA, I spoke with them and said I was having some personal difficulties and could they help. Reliability is an extremely broad term. Whatever list you are referring to cover new cars and short term service records. When I think of reliability, I think of how long a car lasts before major failure. Nissan build quality was top notch until the late 90's at least.

4000 fpm climb to FL430, 1100 nm range, 420 ktas, Not too shabby performance! now if the fuel efficiency is close to what they claim, and the price aint too steep, its a great choice for a personal light jet.

Reliability is an extremely broad term. Whatever list you are referring to cover new cars and short term service records. When I think of reliability, I think of how long a car lasts before major failure. Nissan build quality was top notch until the late 90's at least.

As for reliability , Nissan were quite worst after joining renault (which i don't know why)

@keyframer "BMW's have next to zero individuality." If this is true, than Honda's level of individuality is deep into the minuses. Comparing BMW to Honda is like apples and oranges. Somewhere along the line, people got it in their heads that Honda is a top name in street performance. This is ludicrous, and the only people who attempt to turn their Honda into a performance car - next to an NSX, due so because they can't afford a car actually built for high performance, like a BMW.

There are even some BMW's that are slow, But for the everyday driver that actually has something they can afford to take them places reliably and economically. Honda is the KING at that. But you can't turn a blind eye on them and say that they don't make high performing products either.

@LateNightCable Let's remember that they still to this day make some of the fastest street bikes available to the public. They simply do not make super cars this day in age because of The economic downturn would impact sales like it did to the S2k. (since everyone right now is in the market of a regular fuel efficient vehicle that can take them from point A to point B.)

@EpiDemic117 Honda vehicles perform very highly for what they are - stable, thrifty, practical transportation. Among the best. But the majority of them though are not designed for high dynamic performance, which is how sports cars are bred, and what even the most basic BMW has a basis of, especially in the past. My criticism was towards those who feel a Honda Accord, etc, is in the same league as a BMW 3-Series, etc. in terms of dynamic performance. Fundamentally quite different vehicles.

Though GM actually has an illustrious manufacturing past which you probably wouldn't know about, that includes mechanical and electrical advancements adopted by the entire industry, marine engines, as well as aircraft and heavy equipment that have won wars. Back when Soichiro Honda was just a young upstart.

@LateNightCable I'm actually quite aware of some the things they've done for the industry in the past. However i'm talking about the company that is no longer here today. Of course it still has the same name but the people back then who actually had passion and care for their products are long gone. They can bring up a team of engineers to only improve their lineup for a couple years but what guarantees that they will be like that for the rest of it's existence? you can't trust those crooks GM.

it's cargo lift capability looks sort of weak though.
