  • Thank you.. Are you a science teacher?

  • and thank you.. you are an amazing teacher.. =)

  • why is it at school almost all chem teachers suck but on the internet they make sense.

  • thanks sir!

  • Thank youuu! ;)

  • I am trying to study chem....

Can you please provide a recommend list or sequence of your videos..... kind of like a play list ....

  • where is the part 2 ? :(

  • @DmxCrazy On my website!

    Chemguy

  • Thank u so much!!

  • I want to watch all of his videos starting from the very beginning, because I am lost in chemistry. Which video is the fist one?

    Thanks :D

  • That was a great help, thank you

  • Actually the correct difference in electronegativty to consider it a Ionic bond is 1.7 not 1.9 tehe just felt like stating that

  • Lol PPartially PPositve End

  • @SuperSlayerX Not this one. All the ones at my website!

    Chemguy

  • @bannanaiscool ok, if two hydrogen atoms bond together for example, then the force of attraction is covalent ok, but if a bunch of hydrogen molecules come close or when these hydrogen molecules are in solid state, how then they are held ?

  • @sickcombos LDF. See intermolecular bonding!

    Chemguy

  • plz answer for me this question:

ok..if i am having a piece of Na and i want to react it with chlorine,

first the sodium atoms(before reacting with chlorine)would have lost its electrons.ok when i react it how then how it give to chlorine the electrons if it already lost them ..plz try to understand me and answer me!

    thanks.

  • @sickcombos No. The sodium doesn't lose the electron as such... the chlorine takes it away!

    Chemguy

  • @bannanaiscool but i heard that metals(sodium) lose electrons in a sea of free electrons

  • @ God hey

  • YOU'RE SUCH A GREAT TEACHER :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • very helpful but what happens when you have a molecule which has both polar and pure covalent bonds like CH2Cl2. Does it behave like a polar or non-polar molecule?

  • @brucerd1 Polar!

    Chemguy

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... my chemistry book loves to find the hardest way to explain something, but you just broke it down to the basics! i really appreciate it, it was a monster help on my test!

  • Wheres part 2? help!

  • Thank you so much! These videos are great

  • Thanks great video!

  • you re reeeallllyyyy helpful ....i totally get it now...thanx

  • A+ lesson. thanks man

  • What does the writing say about Electronegativity at 1.10?

  • @AlishaChild

    example: Na + Cl

    EN of Na is 0.90

    EN of Cl is 3.15

the different is 2.25 > 1.9 so this is a ionic bond

  • @thaitanium2005

I understand that part, I just couldn't decipher what the writing said that's all. Thanks anyway. :)

  • Thanks for helping me with my chem 20 final!

  • wow your really helpful , hopefully my C will go to an A* , thanks alot !
