  • :-)

  • Don't flatter yourself Victor. It's all about the cute guest sensei. But since you insist poi is important I will study it. Unless you can get Yuki to explain it to us.

  • Have a fever? Have you tried more cowbell? Anyhow, arigato Victor-Sensei. I am taking notes and studying intently!

  • lol whats with the vetruvian man?

  • I was born in Vetruvia?

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, didn't know that little fact. I'm an artist so it had me wondering. That's really cool to have been born there. Do you remember it much?

  • Fantastic!!!!!!

  • ありがとう!

  • Yo Gimmeabreakman... I'm really happy for you, and Imma letchu finish... but Luciditi had one of the BEST J4Ms of ALL TIME.

ONE OF THE BEST J4Ms OF ALL TIME!!!

(Sorry, I had to do one of my own that nobody else had done yet! I still like your lessons!)

  • I agree with you, Aguilado.

  • I want to see thatjapanesegirl's mother now XD

  • Any vids of TJG's mom?

  • ever thought of doing what's your favorite Kanji collab for the 201 video? Just a thought.

also I've been meaning to ask you what is proper Japanese when renting a video from tsutaya or where ever. I keep on feeling like I'm saying something wrong to them everytime.

  • Coming up, man!

  • "おにぎり is 熱い" Never come across a hot おにぎり before =D

    Nice lesson, 便利です。

  • My wife said that "Karada ga erai " said in Japanese "Isn't that Kansai Ben?" In Fukuoka she said they don't really use it. Just a little information for you from down south (or is that down west)

  • Yeah, ThatJapaneseGirl thinks it's Kansai ben too, but people in Nagoya think it's Nagoya ben. I think we're all learning a lot about Japanese from these.

  • Agreed! I have been in a Japanese slump so your videos have been motivating me :-)

  • Your videos are never boring!!

    身体がえらいって初耳です!こちらでは使わないかもしれません。(私は聞いたことがないだけかもしれませんけどね。)勉強になりました!

    お大事にどうぞ!熱が早く下がるといいですね!

  • Thatjapanesegirl's mum has a netsu too?

    わたしは熱デタンジュンアル?!?!

  • GABM also claims she is a MILF. lol. じょうだん、じょうだん!

  • You should teach Houga ii if you haven't before. I learned that on some audio tapes and I hear it a lot in Japanese now which I hadn't understood before.

  • Yes, it's all about the money maker.

  • Provocative thumbnail....awesome......

    Very useful lesson, thanks.

    I love the intro!

  • Comment removed due to lewdness. :-)

  • Thanks for the great lesson! As usual, you rock! BTW, I like the (new?) chalkboard intro! Pretty tight, man!

As for headache, can you say 頭が痛いです。?Or is there a more colloquial term?

  • 頭が痛いです。

    is my favorite.

    頭痛です。zutsuu desu.

    also works

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks for the videos!

Some of them do a better job of helping me learn then the textbooks xD.

  • Have you ever done a video talking about the weirdest requests that people wanted to learn? I want to learn how to say, Beware of my monsterous shlong.

  • LOL! Oh, man! People talk about tentacles all the time, but I really don't know much about that kind of stuff.

  • 有り難うございました!☆

  • Oh! And in your っぽい video, maybe add how the meaning of 色っぽい is not exactly what one may expect? :D Gosh I was so embarrassed when I said it!!

  • That's a good one!

  • Good lesson. It's very useful.

how about teaching things about shopping?

    Like how to ask:

how much does this cost? or something. I dunno. There's a Mitsuwa Marketplace near my school and I was just wondering how to ask stuff like that. I don't get to try out my Japanese that often.

  • Hi Victor,

Can you please do a short vid on the difference between soshite (そして) and toka (とか). Also, the difference (or similarity in meaning) between demo (でも) and kedo (けど)?

    Thanks man.

  • Did a toka video. Do a search please. Ask Luciditi. I think she knows.

  • Yep, saw that vid, which is why I'm a little more confused, because I'm using both words as "and" and I'm sure there must be circumstances when そして and とか are not interchangeable, but I'm not quite getting it.

  • I'd say toka is more like etc. I usually never hear it at the beginning of a sentence. soshite I do hear at the beginning of a sentence. I dont know if that helps. gomen.

  • Radrey is not wrong. I'l have to do a lesson.

  • netsu ga aru! well, not i don't...but i now know how to say it when i do!! :)

  • Hi Victor, great video.

Interestingly enough, I was thinking of writing a question in the comments right before you said it!

Well, here it is: how to say "If I didn't have a fever, I would go for some ice-cream."

The point here is: "if A, I would B"

    Thanks,

    And hope you get better!

  • woah thanks...

I was actually trying to figure out the "SOMETHINGっている" way of conjugating verbs. Now I know :)

  • Holy crap! Professional graphics and everything!

Oh and the dog is god!
