  • whats the use in having a timer and a moisture sensor???

  • The timer just sets when the irrigation is supposed to turn on and for how long it will run. The sensor actually prevents the irrigation from turning on if the soil already has enough water in it. For example, the timer could be set to run Wednesday and it rains on Tuesday evening. The sensor will prevent the irrigation from running on Wednesday.
