agrees with dinosaurjr420. ultimately music had been dumbed down to appeal to the masses. the music industry really cares about the bottom line and not talent anymore. unfortunately it is the low brow drooling average consumer that keeps hitting the feeder bar .. not caring what comes out of it.

@donniecrump exactly what was on my mind, I just didn't want to start an off-topic rant. The music industry is deceitful, and ran much more towards the business end of things. It's not a forum to expose the best and most talented acts, like it claims to be, like I feel it should be... In my eyes bands like Melvins would have mansions, etc, they have worked the hardest.

this sounds very little like in bloom. other than the drum beat is played with no guitars in places. but then many led zeppelin songs are like that as well. if you mean it has drums, guitars, and distortion, then yes they are identical. oh and i think both songs have a drum roll or two.

@jumeau1 i did not say it sounded like in bloom .. scratches head. huh? xalancampbellx thought kurt may have. however yes the melvins were around before nirvana but this song came out long after in bloom .. based the on album release date of senile animal. many others said it sounded like it. i said it really did not. the chord progression is actually low to high where in bloom is high to low. i think the drum piece is the only part that keeps pace with in bloom .. actually.

This is by far my favorite line up too. All four of these guys are absolutely awesome.

I bought gluey porch treatments a few days ago and was blown away by how fucking raw is was, real grunge. I love the Melvins! Come to North Carolina! (preferably Cat's Cradle in Carrboro)
