What I love about GT5 is all the unnecessary things they put into the game like this for example. They didn't have to, but they did and they did it wonderfully.

these are the little things i love about gt series. it´s details. besides that, the gap between gt5 and fm3 isn´t that big anymore. i have to admit that in parts i do like forza more. especially when it comes to modifications and tuning the car.

@FreestylePortLive If you love racing sims, you love forza. Forza 3 scored higher than all GT games except for GT3, so stop being a stupid fanboi and love all the great racing games. There are things that forza does that still arent even in GT5, and Polyphony has admitted to this.

Can we stop making fun of Forza we paint our cars maybe it would keep us in first place in a race. Put decals and pictures of Master Chief. Hoping it would make the car faster. Look were only 10 years old and think we can drive. LOL

ok nice nice, almost perfect, but there is one thing, that might be a reason why movements of driver looks kind a plastic, i can't see dynamic forces affecting driver's body when braking or taking the corner, it looks like he's just driving trought city and enjoying the sun shinny day and the background music is in right place - sunday drivin' & chillin. omg bottle holder is missing. :D

@transmordas Well its a videogame, of course its not going to look perfect. I would imagine its difficult to get dynamic forces to affect the way his body moves, so naturally its going to look fake. Who cares about what a driver looks like anyway?

If you look at any motor racing footage, you'd see that a driver tilts his head into the turn, and let's the g-forces pull it out of the turn, so that it's level as he exits.

The only flaw I can see, is that the driver tilts his head the wrong way when turning(tilts his head away from the corner, whilst turning his head).

So, if he's turning right, his head turns right, yes, but he tilts it left. :/

Why would he tilt he's head to the right when turning right? It's not a motorcycle.

The G-forces would actually pull his head in the opposite direction of where he's turning.

Eh? The flaw is, you're the driver, sat in your living room holding a (most probably logitech) wheel. You can spin your head like the girl in exorcist if you want...what the game should do is draw what you see out the chuffing window...not another wheel and driver. If they wrote an FPS would they render a mouse and keyboard?

Thx, great analysis. One thing though, you mentioned the Sparco label, but not the Arai helmet. ;-) GT4 also had these details in the convertibles, PD is just crazy when it comes to such details.
