I have been rescuing and re-homing dogs for over 20 years. NEVER met a bad piit. Only met 2 dogs that I couldn't trust around kids. One was a food aggressive lab & the other was a lab/dane mix that once he got near the kids then only I could get the kid. Look at the stats, labradors kill far more people than pits. Otherwise just train, observe, practice. A baby that grows up with a dog and is taught to respect and project love is much less likely to to get bit. They know when to back off.

Pitties are great dogs I have 4 kids one with Autism and a red nose, I have no trouble with having the kids around the dog. open you eyes and your mind not all pits are bad not all dogs are bad. I've heard of cases where great loving pitbull dogs were allowed to get near little children and the next moment you have a child mauled to death. It happened here in los angeles not too long ago, a family in east LA let a pitbull dog around a 2 month old baby, the pitbull chewed a whole into the babies neck killing it instantly. The dog showed no signs of aggression prior to the incident.

I have been rescuing and re-homing dogs for over 20 years. NEVER met a bad piit. Only met 2 dogs that I couldn't trust around kids. One was a food aggressive lab & the other was a lab/dane mix that once he got near the kids then only I could get the kid. Look at the stats, labradors kill far more people than pits. Otherwise just train, observe, practice. A baby that grows up with a dog and is taught to respect and project love is much less likely to to get bit. They know when to back off.

I've heard of cases where great loving pitbull dogs were allowed to get near little children and the next moment you have a child mauled to death. It happened here in los angeles not too long ago, a family in east LA let a pitbull dog around a 2 month old baby, the pitbull chewed a whole into the babies neck killing it instantly. The dog showed no signs of aggression prior to the incident.

I love pits never had a bad experience of my own with one and i've only seen one bite someone once and that was only cause of the moment he was fighting with another dog through the fence and we where trying to get him in. Just surprised him other then that the dog was the sweetest dog ever.
