I think the issue was they went from a very good player in pau to a mediocre one who shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Sergio Rodriguez. It threw him off.
He simply didn't recognise the name when pronounced in a Spanish accent; jesus, no wonder athletes are wary of talking to reporters, when any tiny miss-step they might make will be pounced upon by people.
