I go mushroom hunting and i wanna buy a shot gun, I was wondering if this will take out a big game like a bear from a single shot? What double barrel 10 gauges are there? And for a cheap price. like 200-500

soo much power for around 200$ i had a double barrel zabala 10 gauge i found for around 400 i think but no slugs, and no steel shot therefore i had to fire turkey loads and lead only shot but man it had a hell of a muzzle flash and thunderous BOOM when fired, i miss that gun

My favorite shotgun loads for all around use are BB or #4 buck. Both are heavy enough for defense loads and yet small enough for most game bird use without tearing up everything

@TheSingingDemon oh you can get one of the single shot rossi' 10 gauges for under 200 bucks. Finding a pump like an 870 will be much more expensive.

I had a 10 guage savage pump with iron sights. God, that thing hurt to shoot. It was funny with slugs (760 grains). You could hit a propane tank that had been shot up and knock it 10 feet sideways. How about #11 shot packed extra heavy as a directional mine 10 guage?

Where can I even find ten gauge? I have a sweet 16, I got 2 boxes of shells from the 80's I can't find ammo for it, Its sweet gun all right, just don't know how it shoots, not going to waste my buckshot, when I can't find ammo for it.

@isamtator 10 Guage ammo isn't that hard to find, plenty of online retailers carry it. A gun however will take a bit more hunting
