  • amazing !

did you model the city for yourself or did you used a citygen or something and optimise the material of the buildings?

  • @MRPictur3s I used Greyscalegorilla's CityKit and modified the textures. I thought about using the city I built in my Tron intro, but this was just so much easier :)

  • This is not fair. Why do some people know what they are doing? And others (me) have most of these programs (and replacements for those that I don't have) and can only make a spinning grey cube!!!!

  • @Arjunyg It's also not fair to sell yourself so short so quickly. I also started with a spinning cube, but that was 4 years ago. I have done every Andrew Kramer and Nick Campbell tutorial I can get my hands on, but have finished very few of them because I am after the knowledge contained in them, not the end result they accomplished. Set out goals for yourself, however small, and work to meet them. Gradually you will get bigger, better, faster, stronger!

  • very good work. wish you would complete the whole movie though. i would love to see this in theaters or at least on DVD.

  • i like that you went your own way with this, the style is much more reminiscent of the original tron, could you post some pictures of the models themselves rendered on your site?

  • Outstanding work... especially for a one-man team :)

  • This is incredible! It looks amazing! You should really consider finishing it!

  • Could you PLEASE complete this TRON project?

    PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

  • not bad :D shoulda got a tron costume and a green screen and act as the tron person urself insted of doing it in cinema 4d, woulda looked more realistic, too bad u scrapped it. coulda been even beter :p

  • @TheCursedBanana That definitely would have been better, but also double the work. The amount of work per shot in this video was already way too much and the workflow was frustrating. Imaging also dealing with actors and green screens and motion tracking and costumes and additional compositing... no thanks. :)

  • You should keep going matey, looks great and a credit to yourself.

  • That was amazIng! I don't know how you do it!

  • Yes I totally agree, an extraordinary piece of work.

  • That's amazing!

  • Awesome job

  • That sure looked like alot of work, and it looks amazing! Too bad you scrapped it though. Good luck with whatever it is you're currently working on!
