Why did you buy it in Germany?

Its called European Delivery,it allows you to pick up your new BMW from the factory. Instead of your first drive being on horrible US roads,you get to drive in Germany.

Many of us arent lucky enough to live in Germany so we have to settle for just vacations there. They are shipped by boat,which takes a while,not so much the shipping itself but more so the process.

And the buyer is on the boat too?! Or does he travel ahead by plane? ^^

The buyer comes back before the car is shipped,it takes like two months usually for the car to arrive in the United States.

@jogga123 You have to be lucky to live in the U.S., cause owning a car in Germany is horribly expensive compared to the U.S.
