while Canada's military funding pales in comparison to that of the US, or many EU powers, our training is second to none. During Canadian-US "war games" Canadian soldiers routinely out-perform American soldiers. Look at it this way: China has a standing army of millions, yet American soldiers out-perform them thanks to better training, and better 'toys'. Canada may not have the better toys, but we do have better trained soldiers.

And although the United States is Canada's closest ally, it's just silly to say that Canada is their "bitch"; most countries rely on one another for economic stability and security. Look around. It's a part of what makes world issues and politics interesting.

Actually, Nikola Tesla is to thank for electricity. Why Edison did discovery it, Tesla discovered the AC that we use still use today rather than Edison's DC. And if you guys invented electricity, maybe you should use it instead of receiving imports of oil from the ME and Serbia.
