  • you make having a corn snake a fun pet.getting a corn snake soon

  • @keavyhughes hI :) i have a baby corn snake so i know how to care for one. I have a video on houseing a corn snake that is way better than this crap! Please watch this because she really dosen't know anything at all

  • How mutch you wanna bet that she got that durt/bark from outside and put it in that bag?! She doesnt know how to setup a corn snake cage i dont even have one and i know she's wrong!

  • @spannzer it has chlorine or something in it, you use bottled water or filtered water, or you can use tap water with a Tap Water Conditioner to make it clean. The snake can catch an illness from ? bactiria ? im not a snake expert, but thats what i think u shud do

  • What happens if a snake is given tap water to feed on

  • @maxusgyaos totally agree with u.. but bout the aspen, is it really the best for snakes? i'v tried it & i dont think its so good especially when feeding.. the aspen will go in the snakes mouth with the rat !!!

  • @arsenaly9 well actually its recommended that you box feed snakes. people do this because the snake might attack your hand. but that could happen if you feed them in the aspen bedding, never thought of that.

  • Though just to warn u I keep my corns in a room where the ambient temp stays at 70 and have use a space heater that kicks in if the temp drops below 70. If you are unable to provide this for your snake I would recommend getting a heat pad to maintain the ambient temp in the cage

  • Here is the setup I use. I use a 40 gallon breeder for adults. I use aspen bedding. I run a 100 watt heat lamp at one end that keeps the warm side between 82 and 85 degrees. While the cool side stays at about 70 degrees. I put a hide in each end a small stick for climbing and i place a large water bowl in the center big enough for her to soak in. The large water bowl with the heat in the tank should provide proper humidity for your corn. And that's a simple but proper way to set up a tank.

  • IS THAT THE ONLY SHIRT U HAVE!?

  • all the people that talk shit about these videos , why dont you jus make your own. shes here to help you .

  • dum bitch spilled water on heatpad

  • fuckin' idiot

  • @maxusgyaos Oh :O....where can i go to find proper info on snakes?

  • @csberry1000 you can google for info, or if you need help message me cuz i got mine yesterday.

  • expert village sucks all there care videos are wrong

  • expertvillage;

    full of fail :D

  • Did anybody else read the description? It says she has a BS in wildlife studies. Haha no wonder she has no clue what she is talking about.

  • aspen should be used not bark

  • an enclosure that big for a corn snake, really?

  • is that her panties?!?!?!?

  • @lcrv6 were not babies...unless someone lets everyone know they are retarded then people will end up killing their pets because of "expert"village's advice.

  • Why wouod she use a all glass tank, they're a bitch to heat

  • whoa whoa whoa wtf spillt water will crack glass? your so dumb it amazes me you put water in a fish tank and it doesnt crack holy shit where does expert village find these people

  • @TheDakinesurfahboi ever put a fish heater in cold water while its hot? it explodes same as putting a cup of boiling water into a sink of cold water

  • @cornpastiemp I dont even know what i commented on this video. hahaha thanks for commenting months later

  • what about a LID?

  • Jeez, do you guys even watch the video? She actually SAID it was ok to put the water in the tank because the heating pad is _OFF_. Off means no heat, which means no chance for cracked glass.

In other news, 2 + 2 = 4. Just thought you guys should know.

  • Yea she's a "professional" all right... Professional at being mentally retarded! And brain dead!

  • you dont treated bark for corn snakes you just need aspen

  • DUDE!! hahahahah she said dont let the water from the water dish spill cause i would break the glass then she goes and pour water directly in the whole tank hahahaha

  • 20 gallon long aquarium? Haha, looks more like 40gallon breeder.

  • how big should my corn snake be to go in a think a 1metre cage i have a 2 month old corn snake i have it in a plastic cage atm the shp gave me to keep it in till it gets big enough to go into the big cage how old should it be to go into the 1metre cage?

  • @MrILiKeToMoD you should assume, if it looks like it could get lost in the container, as in: where the hell is my snake? then you should no put it in.

  • @MrILiKeToMoD The lenght of the terrarium should be about the length of the snake, and the width and height of the terrarium should be about half the snakes length. If your corn reaches four feet in length, then you would need a terrarium that measures 4ft by 2ft by 2ft. If your corn reaches six feet, then you'd need 6ft by 3ft by 3ft.

  • the point about water cracking glass is this. the heater warms the glass, in some cases quite a lot. rapidly cooling hot glass with cold water will crack the glass. In her defense she didn't put cold water directly onto the glass and the glass was cold. some people have no common sense. I know expert village sucks but if people are to criticise then think first.

  • what a stupid fucking video you dont have a clue how to care for reptiles

  • you r so retarded u could just use paper towels or reptile carpet hmm a lot cheaper.dont ya think.stupid. dont spill water or u will make glass crack then she says spill some water to help it a little more wet.hmm i thing ur retarded. u r really an expert huh. I think that other guy is beter then u!

  • great

  • catmaster87932 she said mites

  • (i cant see u)

  • Okay, HOW would a mouse get in a bag of reptile bark?????

  • DONT GET A HEATING ROCK! IT BURNS ALL CORN SNAKES!

  • hey snakes dont live in traeted grounds or drink distiled watter

  • @robbykentuchi Distilled water so it doesn't cause mold to grow most likely. And snakes also don't live in Glass Tanks, but whatever :P

  • aspen would be better for skin

  • I thought corn snakes are tree climbing snakes

  • @Dawnslight16 they arent exactly but they do like climbing

  • lots of substrate! why do these ev vids leave out so much info

  • it is nice video hahahahahahahaha

  • does she have an invisible peg on her nose?

ive never heard someone with such a nasal voice ;O

  • Thats wayyyyy more than 2" of sub!

  • a professional snake handler?yeah.........i am more professional than she is

  • why is woman talking ?

  • wow i needed a vid on pooring bedding down

  • the room temperature of my 20 gallon tank is 80-85 degrees throughout the tank(without any heat pads, lights, etc.) I do have a basking light with a 50 watt bulb, but it raises the temp to over 90 degrees!(which is too warm) should i use it or not? is my snake okay with this warm room temp?

~any and all advice is appreciated(:

  • @musicalgenius96

You should be ok with those temperatures as they are perfect for you snake. I prefer to have a basking though. Lower the wattage to about 25 watts and you should get about a 90 degree basking spot which is perfectly fine. Anything above 90 is overkill.

    Hope that helps!

  • hahahaha "She has a BS in Wildlife and Fishery Sciences." BS= Bullshitshit

  • FUCK expert village realy dropped the ball on hirering this bitch shes a fuckin moron!

  • this vid sucks! all she does is putting in some goddam bark ffs!

  • she looks more of a cat lady

  • i need help! my snake is gonna die! what do i do then?!

  • seriously expert village put retarded videos

  • When heat and water and glass mix it cracks Funnyguy5051

  • "...of electrocution"

  • You're not supposed to stick your heat pad to the tank.

    Also, Aspen works better !

  • why cant ya just use friggin dirt i think they handle dirt pretty well in the wild

  • how much does a pet corn snake cost

  • How to fuck is less humidity good for them u expert village ppl know jack shit!!!

  • How about you people just let the reptials live outside and be free.

  • Reptiles can live longer and happier in captivity.

  • @teslaglobal they do actully live longer in captivity like someone said. unless you have someone taking bad care of them

  • ah You are a reptilian.

  • lol @ all the arguing

  • I concur! :D

  • my corn loves water...he found the sink once when i was cleaning his viv...surprised at first but loved it. watching him drink is awsome.

  • guys im thinking about getting a corn snake how much would they be and how hard is it too keep

  • anywhere from 30 to 200 dollars for the snake alone.then its housing depends o n you you cant get a normal tank for pretty cheap then theres its food which is also quite inexpensive mice cost like 50 cents n a scale of 1 to 10 on how hard iit is to care for one i would say 6and a half to 7

  • your retarted twat they need water when they are shedding and they need a water bowl constantly in theirr tank nimrod

  • Snakes should always have access to a waterdish and ´higher humidity when its time to shed skin to avoid problems. And room temperature? The temp for a cornsnake should vary between 25-30 degrees.

  • @XMattman it depends in wich part of the world u live in...

  • Dumb-Ass

  • hey guys .... any idea how much a gorn snake will cost ?

  • anywhere from $40-75 for baby snakes

  • thankssss i live in malta so it would be euros ...... but i went to a pet market 2 days ago and i got one king snake for 20 euros wich will be around 22 dollars and an albino corn snake for the same price XD theyre both 6 months old

  • they need enough water to bathe in so they can shed properly!

  • actually if u talk with a breeder they dont need moister but if there shedding funny they will and thats the only time u need moister and i had a corn snake it would just go into its water bowl

  • hay check out my vid of corn snake

  • oi bitch how dumb r u u stupid ******** water ?????? plus yea dats wayyyy 2 much bark da heat aint gonna get through properly u dumbo

  • pouring water in de bedding ? is she making a movie to promote mold ?? x) shes a real joke !!

  • Pouring water in the bedding?!?

  • distilled water kills corn snakes!!! DO NOT USE IT.

  • Shes stupid! Why would she put water on it if she said to at first. Go get a life that 14 years you been with snakes your fricken dumb. and thats over 2 in inches the only good video shedid was handling

  • i think she dropped the corn snake in that vid

  • yeah man expert village is retarded and they dont know what their talkin about

  • @Guitarboi1995 no its only debbie the rest are class she drops snakes its funny:(

  • wow u said spilled water will crack blass these expert villige ppl r stupid

  • R u dum

  • this is horrible

  • aspen! corn snakes don't like humidity

  • THATS A 20 GALLON???? LOOKS LIKE 30

  • ASPING SHAVINGS LOVE!

  • Can I use that carpet for tank instead of using bark because I find it messy and hard to clean after.

  • 2:05 you said spilled water can make glass crack so you spill water?

  • lo she did sbecausethe bark was dry and the heeting pad was not pluged in

  • @FunnyGuy5051 she explains herself like 5 second after and says the heating pad isint pulled in

  • @FunnyGuy5051

the heat pad isnt on dumbass

  • @FunnyGuy5051 u heard wrong she said spilled water can RESOLVE INTO CRACKED glass. she said if ur glass is cracked it will resolve into it

  • @machinecinema4 what she means is if you pour cold water on hot glass the glass should shatter surely you never put a cup of hot water into a cold sink and watched it disintigrate?

  • @cornpastiemp oh ty. btw ive never done tht

  • @machinecinema4 ive done it twice now once when making a cup of tea and once when cleaning out my fish tank :P

  • @FunnyGuy5051 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha but the heating pad isnt on yet :P

  • @FunnyGuy5051 yeah, over the heat pad

  • @FunnyGuy5051 spilled hot water

  • @pacarato99 You mean cold water spilled over glass which is hot from the heating pad.?

  • @pkArmani88 yes, because of the temperature diference...it can crack the bottom of the tank :)

  • @FunnyGuy5051 You do know that putting cold water on heated glass can make it crack right? She said the heating pad is not turned on just yet, so I don't know what yourself and 23 other people are trying to say by your comment?

  • @FunnyGuy5051 if the cold water hits the heated glass ity will break but she said that the heating pad wasnt on so, theres no risk

  • @FunnyGuy5051 Its obvious that the heat pad is not plugged in.

  • @FunnyGuy5051 what part of the heating pad is not on did you not get?

  • does any1 no how to get bak deleted vids from an account

  • thanks for anwsering

  • could you just use savings like what a bunny would use?

  • aspen only...

  • can anyone please tell me that can i use a heat pad instead of heat lamp for a corn snake?

  • I use to use just the heat pad but now I use nothing doesn;t seem to effect my snake

  • yes you can

  • can i use peet moss

  • I was told that corns don't need high humidity and are happy at room humidity. Why is she wetting the bark??

  • they should have humidity in their tank. it helps them digest better and its more comfortable for them. some people wet the bark to get humidity, others just mist the cage with like a spray botte or put some wet sponges in their cages

  • give them one spray of a mister for 1-2 a week just to help them out that it

  • Ok insted of using bark I using a bunck of little pebbles will that work? cause my friend had a lizard and it used that stuff.

  • snakes should have any kind of small rocks or gravel in their tank. if you feed them in their cage, they could accidently swallow the rocks or they could just eat them even if you didnt give them something to eat. that can make them sick

  • I feel so sorry for the snakes whose owners are beginners and watch EV vids, they might actually listen...

  • This woman is SHITE

  • wtf she said spilt water would result in cracked glass but she puts water in the bark anyone say retarded

    expertvillage is gay..

  • the heat pad was off...

  • when she's pouring the water she didnt have the heating pad on. that allows time for the water to warm up to room temp. that makes it safe.

what she ment by spilt water was cold water. if an cold object moves imediately to a hot glass surface, the glass would crack. ask yur mother that, she'd probably agree with me

  • reptile bark aint bad it holds humidity really good but my ball python's belly gets irritated so im gonna put him on aspen for a few weeks and see how it will evolve but if your animal needs high hummidity reptile bark is a good option

  • i have reptile bark in my ball python tank wich is currently housing two balls they are doin fine i have heard that aspen cuases respatory problems not sure if thats true or not but i thought id let u no

  • now i use news paper to line the botom of the cage with nothing else, i know you can use repticarpet, but the people at my pet store (creature castle) said i could use news paper i want to get like a bark or somthing, any recomindation?

  • i use a substrate called reptibark u can get at ur local pet store it does cuase high humidity so want to check ur guages often

  • would a 40 gallon breeder be a good size tank for a corn snake

  • probably to big

  • spilling water can result in cracked glass. WTF DOES THAT MEAN?!

  • lol :)

  • lol ???, what does that mean, obviously when u put the water and u turn on heat mat its ganna crack ??, i mean its perfect if u dont havea heating pad but if u dont ur corn snake will probably die

  • lol she farted...and thats definately a 29 gallon not a 20 long...expert village always fails...anyone learning about cornsnakes just give up on expert village its a waste of time

  • whoa is she wearing a thong lol check it out 2:16

  • that tank looks like a 29 gallon..

  • omg lmao this lady needs to be house broken, she has poo in her mouth

  • at 1.52- 1.56 its sounds like she farted lol.

  • yeah lol hahaha

  • your an idiot and ur pug ugly how the hell did u become a snake handler without a brain gosh do you know anything fugly mabye you shud be watching some videos on how to do it yourself fugly

  • She made some mistakes...but dude calm down it was okey.

  • what!! are you joking?

  • i like turtles

  • lol...i literally just rofled at that

  • So do i, u know they can fly.

  • Don't use heat rocks, can hurt your snake very badly!

  • LMAO at the comment below... she's fugly ha

  • 1. that heat mat is too small (should be approx 1/3 of the viv)

    2. putting your water bowl over the heat mat raises the humidity and helps with shedding

    3. OMG way too much substrate over the heat mat...

    4. she's fugly...

    5. wouldn't it be simpler to use a watering can?!? lol her poor snakes must need snorkels

  • lol @ her using da whole bag

  • cunt! suck my dick! or cock!

    hehehe shit!

  • or if she bought a descent viviarium made of wood with a heat lamp in it the glass wouldent crack...

  • use aspen!

  • "Idiot Village" wants people to encourage mold, skin disease, and bad smells by wetting the substrate.

  • my corn snake burrows!!!

  • Comment removed

  • OMG YOU DON'T KNOW A THING!! A vet said to me, "Put the water bowl near the heat mat when it's shedding because it makes ore water vapour in the air." Your saying the opposite OMG!! and the heat mat is water proof! COS IT HAS A PLASITC COVER ON IT!! well mine does and I wash it with reptile anibaterical thing and wipe it off and it still works!!

  • its not that it will wreak the heat pad its that if water gets onto the glass where the heat matt is, the glass will crack.

  • why is it always an old lady explaining these things

  • because old people have wisdom....in her case though.....no

  • Geezuz freakin' christ this lady's retarded!

  • lol. i was like "what the fuck, didnt she just say not to put water over the heat pad, then why is she dumping water all over it?". lol. then she said that it wasnt plugged in.

  • careful....im not positive, but i know i tried repti bark with a heat pad....and the bark didnt warm up at all from the heat pad...also puts a couple sheets of newspaper over where the heat pad is before you add the substrate...and USE A THEREMOMETER with the probe on top of the newspaper.....cornsnakes like to burrow and if made contact with the bottom of the heat pad..they'd be terribly burnt

  • less humidity is bad for a snake.maby you should get a pet rock that u carnt kill.

  • You've not much idea what youre talking about, eh?

  • erm, no one can control the temperature a heatmat will go, you need a thermostat to control the temp it will go... if not, the mat will carry on getting hotter and be too hot for the snake... she has a heat rock also, which is unstatted and WILL cause thermal burns...... so please dont tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about, when theres an ugly stupid old BAG above who clearly knows NOTHING about snakes

  • This is the poorest care video ever on youtube, the title needs to be renamed 'How To Kill A Corn Snake'
