if you dont want anything to blow out get the beats cuz ive had a pair of black studios for 4 years now and the only damage to them is a dent in a metal rim. no maintinence had to be done but a few wire replacements were necessary. the beats by dr dre brand is clearly overpriced because they look VERY good and will last a VERY long time. if you dont care about looks you should be checking out bose, audio technica, sony, toshiba, or specialty headphones. the sound quality of the beats is oriente

I have both and I would personally say Studios Beats by Dr. Dre because comfort, noise cancellation, good highs, mids, and kicking bass. However, Skullcandy Aviators are very close compared to the beats in overall performance and they are only half of what the studios cost...

I used to used the beats solo hd but then i bought studios and pros but the pros are not very comfort about or maybe that just bc i have big ears but the studios are perfect the have the best sound i have ever heard and the noise cancelation is awesome to have...even tho the batteries part sucks u only have to replace them once a month and i use my for hours everyday so i high suggest beats studios considering i have tried all the skullcandys
