  • This is very cool! Thank you for sharing...I never thought about creating my own pictures for the inside. Since my last one came apart, I bought a new one dreading to put it back together. But since I've seen this, I think I might tackle it and print me off some new pics...

  • My mistake he did make that oops haha

  • Will you sell is on your site???

  • i'll to buy this puzzle from you soon,i hope, good job

  • Thats really cool.

  • did u make that? is that magnets?

  • Yes, I made that puzzle. The tiles are connected with strings using a well known mechanism (23 years old) which was invented by Rubik.

  • But im realy facinated of how it works that its stuk one one side and then when you fold it i get stuck on another sidehow can somone invent that same with the rubiks cube if these things didnt exist i would be sure that these types of things would be impossible to make.

  • @KisaKittyLove No its not magnets, its strings that are clear like fishing line, and no i don't believe he made that.

  • @beaulolp

    He made it.

  • where'd you get a 2x3 magic?

  • As stated in the details, it is a custom puzzle I made. :-)

  • how do u make one i keep trying and it just doesnt work for me please respond a.s.a.p.

  • .....magics are so cool, especially for how simple they are.

  • how do you string a 6 tile magic?

i have looked at the twistypuzzles article but they only explain 8 tile ones.

  • Stringing is exactly same as an 8-tile, you just use two tiles less. You really need to spend some time to understand how the stringing works, and then realise that the strings will always converge to the same spot. For example, draw an image and check where the stringing paths go.

  • Well, it didn't work for me.

  • Fancy meeting you here :D

  • What're YOU in all of the right mids doing HERE!?!?!

  • what do you mean by "secret move"

  • The secret cube move describes the steps for creating a cube when using a 6-tile magic. It is not a trivial sequence of moves, it requires some experience, and whoever does it must be extremely careful when performing it, to ensure that no strings break or come off.

The Magic Dino Cube was the very first working magic puzzle (with a specific theme) which required the usage of the secret cube move. ;-)

  • what about the "create the cube" on the 2x4 magic?

  • When making this move for a 2x4 magic, it doesn't require any string stretching and it can be achieved almost naturally.

This is not the case with a 2x3 magic, as to achieve the cube form you must FORCE the strings AND simultaneously press certain parts of the puzzle. A wrong press can result to breaking a string or to have it come off.

And this is why anyone who doesn't understand the movement of the magic, is not advised to try it. I made this video because it was requested by many! ;-)

  • I design them, and at various times sells them. The payment "currency" that I prefer is other puzzles! ;-)

  • Where can u buy one of those?
