Also Danny Woodhead is having a great season with the New England Patriots which not much can be said about his NFL career. It is true that NWM beat CSC twice, and NWM was the better team but in the end Danny is the better player.

if thats really only his senior year, i dont care that it wasn't d 1 talent, the kid has an eye for the end zone. i just read the espn article, it sounds like he doesn't want to play special teams but if he wants to make the roster he has to be able to do something else. He looked good on the screen, maybe he could get some 3rd down carries, maybe return punts, he'll have to show he can do one thing really well and he'll have a chance to play. interesting story nonetheless

Ya i understand where you going with this but i'll have to agree xavier has a chance to become a great back and my opinion one will do better than another depending on what offense there respective teams run. Omon is will buffalo who has Marshawn Lynch and they will most likely run down field and between the tackles. Woodhead wouldn't fit in that type of offense but more of one like denver or phili. I know touching the ball 40 times doesn't mean anything. I met X at the Chadron game

Um ya ok i was born and grew up in denver and i have met terrell and met xavier at one of their play off games and terrell is bigger your just trying to talk your boy up and Woodhead is still better hands down. look at 40, verticals, and his all time rushing record, all purpose yards, touchdowns.

Apparently Woodhead is your boy and though he runs a faster 40 he is not the better player. If we wanna look at things with his stats let's look at total touches. That is like saying Troy Davis from ISU was the greatest ever. He touched ball 40 times a game. Lots of touches doesn't make you more productive. X will be the better BACK guaranteed. Not the better return man like Woodhead may become. PS: Terrell isn't bigger. I've met them both without pads and what game did you meet X at?

How does any one know what a player is going to do in the NFL? From coming into school with him 5 years ago all he has done is improve and get better day in and day out. He is going to give some stability to the RB position for Buffalo because lets be honest if marshawn lynch gets hurt you have nothing as a back up. Xavier is durable and isn't injury prone like other backs. He only missed 4 games in 4 years.

Jordan, I goto to Missouri western and have watched him play several games against us.I agree with you. I think Omon will actually surprize ALOT of people in the NFL. Everyone talks shit because it was a D2 school but he dominated everyone. He has excellent vision for a back and great speed and quickness. I don't know if he'll ever be an adrian peterson but I'd be surprized if he's not starting in the NFL a few years from now. From interviews he seems like a real genuine good guy.

Northwest Missouri State also held its workout last week, and running back Xavier Omon had a good day. (Tight end Mike Peterson didn't work out and is scheduled to do so on the 20th.) At 230 pounds, Omon was a little heavier than many think is ideal -- we believe he is best suited to be 215-220 pounds -- but he still ran pretty well for a big back, clocking in at 4.60 and 4.62. He was quick, smooth and fluid throughout his workout, and he caught the ball surprisingly well.
