I'm reading a book right now.. Prison i Teheran it's called.. There must be many books of these kind of lifestories....

  • NOPE...Jesus do not live in IRAN HE lives In all are Hearts...

  • hahaha, part of an old stratigy in confronation with iran.lol. you can not stop iran on its way to be a superpower.

  • where did you get this stupid idea?stagnation, incompetent and illiterate leaders, widespread corruption certainly does not qualify one country to be a superpower.

  • naripersian

are you 51 years old? i was thinking these tactic works only on teenagers who have wrong definition of freedom.

  • torbat1357, you did not address any of naripersian's comments.

  • I8rthen

i think if i want to go through those issues , it will open a book to write and explain,

he knows what he said is baseless and based on personal ideas.

  • See YOu Tube video

    "Iranzamin High School: 1979."

What a difference between then and now. Happier times for irani school kids.

  • The iranian mullahs are the ones who are digging their own graves. Superpower???? hahahaha. Not under those imbeciles, but under real Iranians.

  • can somebody tell me the name of the song in the first part of this video? thxxxx

  • Ahmad Batebi is free and in America! A message from Batebi:

"I wish each and every Iranian could travel abroad, come to the U.S. or go to Europe, for just one week, and feel, smell, and breathe freedom, human dignity, and realize the value of their lives."

  • WOW. i did not know. Great courage. Wishing Iranis the best !

  • Khomeyni was An Arab!

  • I wish more young Iranians will rise up like him. Thank you for making this video.

Mahmoud and the ayatollahs are the ones who will burn for eternity. They are the ones who should be hanged, of course after being tortured slowly. Iran is not facing a good future and anyone should get out. It's better to escape and live in the mountains as a hermit than live in constant fear imposed by those evil creatures of Satan. LMAO... Mahmoud thinks it's his job to bring the Mahdi, but the Mahdi is SATAN!

  • the mountains are harsh and too cold in the winter and the peshmerga controls it

some kurds live their and would be more then happy to invite iranian brothers to it :) after all if war starts it will be the kurds who will open their doors to the persians not the arabs or turks :D

keep fighting against your goverment :)

  • i really thank u dear kurds to save ahmad batebi life from the fucking regime..if we get united ,we can get rid of mullahs canser..

  • i understand ur out rage but remeber iran is the birth place of human rights and tortching people and hanging them with no law system is not iranian

  • Yes, I agree. It's time to hang those mullahs and get Persia back. I truly feel for a lot of Iranian people. I know there is a significant % of good Iranians who suffer and those who oppose it. It is quite clear that a lot of demonstrations the mullahs show are staged. I just fear that because of those mullahs innocent iranians would pay. I know many here and work with them and it is amazing how they despise those mullahs. How the hell did they ever get so powerful today? I guess Russia now.

  • you're just vulnerable enough to believe you're educating me by making such statements- lol

jesus was a jew? no really? wow

  • Dont worry, all the believers will be saved, this is only temporary living for us. I truly believe that , the future is so bright for us.

Pray and believe and see God work His way to save us each time.

  • great video,we should all ask ? who is next? does USA care for the wellbeing of our people and our country? who brought the mullahs to iran in first place? Who shah was? What is democracy? What will happen to iran after the mullahs? are our people responsible for what is happening to iran? Is there a reason why through out centuries our country has been in conflict? As a human being and as a iranian i wish the best for iran and all those who are fighting for freedom.

//Darish.R 16-year old boy from Europe

  • Yare Dabestani was originally made as a song for students to protest the U.S installed puppet shah regime, and now the supporter of that old puppet traitorous regime are using it against those who conducted the revolution? This makes no sense.

  • The islamic revolution has failed Iran. its time for a new revolution. its a revolution song for young classmates like Ahmad Batebi and Amir Fahrkhavar.

  • Yare Dabestani WAS the song of the Islamic revolution, lol, that's the irony i'm pointing out here.

  • fox

GOD will one day smill at Iran again or as it's called in the Bible Elam

  • no, the song has a meaning! it brings oneness and it has a great message! and If they know that the islamic republic is going to turn out like it is today! this song would never be made! its a song for freedom! its nothing to do with Islamic Republic!

all through history the way of truth and love

    has always won.

There have been tyrants and murderers.

and, for a time, they can seem invincible

But in the end, they always fall.

    Whenever you are in doubt,

    This is God's way.

  • The Bible says to love all people, I know it might be hard... but think, what would Jesus do? Not all of them are bad, some of them are just in the middle of it.

  • F...you and your blood and your leader.

  • Hey s...head Bosnian. Are Bosnians such retards that they can't even produce their own f...ayatollahas. Believe me it doesn't take much brains for a Bosnian or any other s...head like you to become one. Meanwhile, you can worship ours coz they soon need to find a refuge in some country like yours. LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY, DEATH TO THEOCRATIC DICTATORS AND THEIR SUPPORTERS.

  • Death to annoying spammers named Hamzzza!

  • Why are the ayatollahs winning the media war in the west? The left leaning Western electorate condones what´s going on in Iran because they share some anti-americanism ideals. The righ leaning Western electorate ignores what´s going on in Iran since it is better to leave savages among themeselves (Iran might be viewed as a different version of Somalia). Many more in the West don´t give a damn about Iran. May Iran live soon in a peaceful environment... Raffaello

  • If only the left cared about these students...who are fighting for the right to think, learn, travel, discuss, protest, be young...just exist...

If only the right saw them as people, not potential terrorists or enemy combatants...

Maybe we could have a true revolution....we need to support the student movement!

VIVA LA REVOLUCION! MARG BAR MOLLA!!!!

  • wow u bosnians can have the stinking ayatollahs......im sure u will regret your words

  • bosnians are not Iranians so fuck you

  • Dear Hamzzza , you are an idiot .

  • Wish you all Freedom in Iran!

  • We, Iranians, would be more than happy to let you have all of the ayatollahs. It is good to know that they'd have a place to be welcome once they're kicked out of Iran.

  • shade um dieses Land, das von solchen Idioten regiert wird!

  • is this like promoting christianity

  • It is more like a condemnation of people of any faith who resort to brutality to suppress their opponents. If Islamists fall under this catagory, then your conclusion is a valid one.

  • no.

  • ahmad had been doing an acting role as jesus when he was arrested for the protest.

  • Full respect, and this is not to discuss your comments. But,no matter what system you live in, the use of executive power always depends on the will of the ruler. Therefore, the real important thing is not the system, but how the society is choosing the ruler. Turkey is trying to enter EU, joining to these states, who invaded our country 70 years ago and massacred hundreds of thousands Muslim Turks, and still blaming us for not being death. Some people dare to ask "why?" but lol, who cares? :)

  • All I want to say is, we are headed towards a big, long, ugly, bloody war with the rest of the world. No matter with whatever political ruleset she comes, I, as a Muslim Turk, want to see old friend Iran as an ally instead of an enemy. I apologize for speaking much about a country, that I don't have even right to talk about. Please believe me it is due to friendly feelings, and nothing else. Again my best wishes to all Iranian brothers and sisters.

  • Thanks for your friendly comments. We, Iranians, too, wish all our Turk brothers the best.

  • Before ending my comments, I'd like to say that theocratic dictatorship is worse than any other kind because there is no systematicity in the the rulers government. Their rules change on a daily basis to serve their own needs and they claim this is their new interpretation of what God intended.

  • As a result, theocratic rulers have unlimited maneuvarability in evading accountibility. Case in point, Iran/Iraq war which cost 1/2 million Iranian lives only for Saddam to be addressed as 'Brother Saddam' after the war ended--and no one dares question why.

  • And when that day comes, we will all remember what was meant by our ancestors when saying "life and death" So, believe me, there are much worse possible futures than ending up in theocracy. I have lived in Turkey, past October 12, 1980, military rule. We have seen raise of PKK terror in South East Anatolia that took life of more than 30.000 people. I can show you pictures from democratic countries that you would think the ones you show here are from a picnic.

  • One day, not very far, we all will find ourselves at the point, all looking at eachother to see who will get the last piece of food on the table. Then Indians, Americans, Chinese, Europeans and all other leaders, whose formers made much cruel decissions in the past, compared which leaves supporting Hamas, Hezbollah etc. just a walk in the park, will have to make even more cruel decissions.

  • Considering the world's resources today are just barely enough to hold the population of developed countries, you may ask yourself what will happen, if the rest of the world, working hard in their now "competetive" economies and adopting uniform consumption culture in their now western model "democracies".

  • All the worlds hungry masses are following western example. It is not about increasing population but about increasing consumption per person. People who had traditional ways to deal with extreme climates are leaving these ways and just putting an electrical air conditioner to the wall. Washing mashines, refregerators, TV sets are in even poorest subarbian houses of non-developed countries where you can't walk without stepping on your own shit.

  • Oil reserves of the world, with best estimation, have a life of 80 years. Of course it won't get that long since people will have to find alternatives before it is depleted. There is no country in this world who does not have a huge future benefit in investing to Atomic energy, right now. If you would have an idea about energy gap of the world, you would not be able to sleep in peace tonight.

  • I also know that Iran, as well as Turkey needs badly of atomic energy. But Iran is doing it right now, where Turkey is talking it since 30 years. This is the difference. Btw. Yes we have a happy democracy that cut by army every 10 years (main reason is not ending up IR of Turkey) and thousands of people in the jails as political criminals. You see how different we are? :)

  • Turkey may need atomic energy but not Iran. If iran had any feasible energy programs she would start building refineries in Iran, not Indobesia, so that it wouldn't have to import petrol.

  • Also, which one is less costly to the Iranian nation:

i.investiting to discover Iran's yet undiscovered resources and/or revamping the existing resources--which would generate work for the unemployed Iranians, orii-going after atomic energy and facing economic sanctions that would increase unemployment.

  • And Ahmadinejad's claim that a school girl has succeeded in producing neuclear energy with some instruments she had bought from the bazar, shows u the extent of mullas achievements in the field.

  • In other words, they are just plating the atomic card to suppress freedom fighters in Iran by saying that this issue vitally important to our nation and we have to stand up against the world to protect our interests.

  • And western countries are also making a big deal of Iran's atomic program to pave the way for attacking Iran-- a strategy that would ensure their own economic growth at the cost of Iran's destruction.

  • u should go and pray and be thankfull to god for sending you turks that man ATTA TURK nabukadnezar!!

wasnt it for him turkey would be as same as todays afghanistan!!!

and pls, talk about things that u know or are in your nature,u can not speak about something that u havnt been thrue yet!!!iran has fallen 100s of years behind and u talking about how strong and modern we are today??!!go drink some yeni raki and worrie about your country and your life,,let us do our work!thank you

  • Right on Persiansoldiers75.

One more thing with these IRI agents is that they always equate democracy with being under the banner of the U.S. Is India exploited by the U.S?

Democracy means that the fate of a nation should not be decided by lunatic Khomeini and Khamenehi. Don't u remember the cost to Iran over the prolongated war with Iraq only caused by Khomeini's personal problems with Saddam. Now we got another f...head calling all the shots on atomic programs.

  • Owzhan. I am no IRI agent. I am just trying to learn. If you compare Iran with India, where do you think there is a huge gap in your life standards and life quality? India, that is far away to feed up her 1 billion population, is building up 10 big nuclear power plants. I know, because I am working in energy sector.

  • The difference btw Iran & India is that the formers leaders choose to support Hamas & Hebollah at staggering costs to the Iranian people. Not to mention, they are not held accountable for their own financial corruption as they are reps of God.

  • Finally my Turkish friend, we have a saying in Farsi;

Avaze dohol az door shanidan khosh ast-- before you wish for an IR for Turkey go to Iran, not as a tourist, rather, live amongst the people for a month. Then, you'd realize how wonderful theocratic rule is!!!

  • Persiansoldier. I am a true Muslim. And I am thankful to Ataturk. Not for I much care raki and blue-jeans and disco music, but since Ataturk gave us a chance to STAY ALIVE. Our fate would be much worse than Afghanistan be sure, if he would fail, and our lives would be left into hands of so called "civilized" and "democratic" states of West, we would all be slaughtered until last man and woman. Democracy is sometimes good, but safety, food and independency come first.

  • Future being uncertain, I always prefer today's Iran, over a state that is only a toy in the hands of America and Israel. Trying to fix such a complex unity like Iran, by just hitting on it - especially when it is still working- is not a wise choice for neither Iranians, nor their neighbors.

  • Of course they have a more closed society, and less democracy today, but they have more independency and more options in choosing their economy, military, science politics. They have even a better educated society compared to us, and at some extent a more balanced distribution of wealth, a better shared wellfare.

  • That's my point of view, and I will keep it as long as Iranian people keep supporting the IR, as they are doing right now. To all my experience, Iran doesn't seem to me a place where human rights, freedom and daily life is under a monsterous pressure. At least not worse than what we have here in Turkey.

  • What I just wanted to say here, in full respect of sacrifices made by intellectuals and students, these conditions are still valid, and if they think that they would have a better life by opening to imperialists all what they protected by now (call it secularization, call it liberazitaion or western type democracy) will help a bit to their freedom, they are mistaken.

  • What I see today's Iran is strong, advanced, and wise enough to protect the life, independence and wellfare of her citizens compared pre 1979. I am fully aware of the conditions that they did it being an Islamic republic.

  • Despite of harsh reality, it is still sad to see brave, good and talented men and women in the prisons all around world. I hope Iran finds a way to gain these "rebels" back to her cause. I remember 1960-70's in Turkey. How many brilliant, brave, good people were wasted by stupid brother vs brother war, that only profited imperialists.

  • And what exactly is IRI's cause? By all the evidence one can gather from your comments, you are not from Iran; but are symapthtic to IRI. My freind, if you care about Iranians welfare join them in separating religion from politics.

  • Iran is Iran and Turkey is Turkey. As they can't offer us help to establish an Islamic state, we can't offer them help to establish a laik state. But we can still co-operate with mutual respect to the choice of our people.

  • Yes, I say Hakhamaneshis did not exploit the poor as historical docs. show the laborers were paid for their work. More importantly, they did not exploit religion as they allowed their conquered territoroes retain their own religion. Finally, the christian clergy exploited people in the 'dark ages', not 21 cent.

  • You keep referring to UNESCO's criteria. I wonder why you are better informed of UNESCO's definitions than IRI's government's own stance on poverty. If you are a member of IRI's corp to the UN, at least, find some time to read official Iranian newspapers.

  • I fail to appreciate why the IRI needs to be in constant conflict with its neighboring countries. And it is not. Just look at the volume of investments it makes in other countries like Indonesia, not to mention its neighbors. So,the ideology is to support Hamas and its enemies, at the same time,at the expense of the Iranian people. Only the mind of mullas is capable of such anamolity.

  • Then, why haven't the rest of the world come to the realization that by converting to the Shie' sect of Islam, they'd enjoy a more complete life free of societal evils? Why is moral corruption more rampant in Iran than say, Pakistan? As for Iranians accepting the Arabs religion by choice and not force, just check out the inscription on Cyrus's tomb. It reads the tomb of Hazeate Soleiman's mother. Why? Because Iranians didn't want it destroyed by the arab barberians.

  • Further, as for the distinction you tried to draw between Shie' and Sunni, the former sect was invented by Iranians to distinguish themselves from the barbarians who invaded them. However, it soon became a tool for the parasite mullas to take financial advantage of Iranians. That's why the likes of you and your bosses, mullas, are overachievers and the rest of Iranians underachievers.

  • Then according to you Hamas is Iranian & not Arab. Thank you for your enlightening comments! Why don't you coin a new word like Irabs to describe IRI supporters & them Arabs.IRI officially has set the poverty line at 400KT, not UNESCO,when a worker makes 168KT and a teacher 268KT. Please use some logic in your propoganda or soon the pay would stop & you'd join the rest of Iranians (i.e., under the line of poverty)

  • Thank you for participating in English.

In so far as the Iranian people's whining is concerned, one might argue any nation might whine, regardless of its type of government, when its riches are squandered for the welfare of its historic arch-enemies--in our case Arabs, when 90% of its own people live under the poverty line.

Please resort to your logic before you make such generalizations about the Iranian nation.

  • All governments, even most democratic ones, are coming always with 3 things:

1- A strong propoganda machine spreading lies

2- Secret police with license to kill

3- A lot of angry students who think they must do something to set the country free from slavery

I still think, job creation, energy supply and safety is more important. Too much democracy can be harmful for these important values. And governments have full anti-democratic support from public at this point.

  • Working class people are the only ones who has power to change a country's regime. Something that working class always refused is to put Food-Safety-Fredom in risk to join dreams of intellectuals & students. When the time comes, however, they may need some intellectual help, and be sure such demand creates always a supply. The problem about Iranian student movement was that people did not buy it. Ask Americans, I am sure they have a lot of statistical study about it.

  • And, as long as a government, Iran in this case, can provide jobs for its people, and don't let people die in wars with no reason, this government is very hard to go down. True for USA, true for France, true for Israel and also Iran. Students, radicals, opposition etc. can always demonstrate, but this doesn't change anything. Great majority will listen them only if things really go bad. Surely Iran is much better than it was in 1970's.

  • With such well-rehearsed, quasi-literate, and one might add well-paid freinds like you; the Iranian people don't need an enemy!!!On what evidential basis are you claiming that Iran is bettre off now than in the '70s. Perhaps so, in the domain of its statesmen, a bunch of s...brains, being the laughing stock of the rest of the world.

  • This is a forum for exchanging ideas about the movements against IRI. Let us either contribute in Farsi or English so the rest of us could participate.

  • I am sorry for what happened to this guy but this is what's happening in all around the world. Same happened in USA in 1960's, in CCCP, in China and everywhere. If you mean USA is friendly to Iranian people, go and check how many young students were killed by SAVAK, MOSAD and CIA before 1979. There is a good reason why Iranian people voted today's government. And greater majority is not always who demonstrate, and make the most noise.

  • How observant of you to claim the greater majority of Iranias do not demonstrate and make noise!!!Apparantly, you are not following the current demonstartions by teachers, students, and the workers.

  • I am not aware of any demonstration recently. As far as I see Iran is doing well in economics, geo- strategy and energy politics. Of course they can never make everyone happy. People who want to see a western democracy in Iran, people with ethnic priorities etc. always will find something to complain about. But it does not mean that great majority want to kick mullahs down.

  • While you are on the subject, could you please delineate the distinction between western democracy and other types of democracy. There is only one type of democracy. If your alluding to the phrase 'Eslame Madani', let me assure you the folks who coined it are a bunch of demogauges as the tenets of Islam are at odds with democracy.

  • well, actually the USA is a evil creatur but anyway...

this achmahenidschat (or whatever his name is) is an asshole

  • fuck all ayatolahs and their supporters. they all mother fuckers...

  • fuck all yankee iranians. They sell their mothers for one doller.

  • Fuck u dirty arab

  • It is interesting that the Zionist media (New York Sun)that first picked up on this. And it is the Zionists that are calling for the bombing of Iran. So for this one man people are willing to expose hundreds of civilians to American or Israeli bombing?

  • That's right!!!Obviously, your mind is as constrained as the ideology of those who pay you.

  • Pay? lousey worthless US blood stained dollars?

They said: zul-qarnain! the people of Gog and Magog do great mischief on the Earth, shall we pay tribute to thee so you could place a barrier between us and them?

Zul-qarnain said: I do not want tribute What God has given me is better than tribute I will help you against them.

  • I meant blood stained dollars from I.R.I.

Funny you should recite verses on Zul-quarnain since he is by most accounts, including Rafsanjani's, Cyrus The Great who is revered by moslems and jews alike.

  • or was he Alexander of Macedon?

  • What difference does it make who this person was or whether he existed at all? Live in the present because history is distorted like most so-called holy books.

  • So what have you got? dirty blood stained US Dollars? you worship the federal banks to give you happiness, and you will use trickery and caos in other countries for your pay?

  • I wish I did, because the greater majority of Iranians prefer a democratic government more than the theocratic dictatorship in place now.

  • finally a smart person...you are the only smart person in this forum...the rest are just blind...americans are fat..and dum..they don't care if the world is falling apart

  • sounds like you enjoyed 4/20 (you must be stoned out of your mind). please tell me what freeing Ahmad Batebi have to do with bombing Iran?????? And last time I checked, this was picked up by Amnesty International.

  • owzhan:

Unfortunately, the call for overthrow is not practical.

No government is there to stay, they live their life and go away, so will this govrnmnt.

And the next government will do the same if not worse.

But there is hope for reform, and it's not that bad...yes, it's bad...but not as bad as losing hope.
