  • the future uses p90's? that gun was developed in the 1900's

  • Really? In 50 years they will use P90s? I don't see any of us still using Thompsons.

  • @PivotalPlatypus you're completely right first off. but i wouldnt mind taking a polished off thompson to a gun fight especially in close quarters.

  • @GODLESS24 Who wouldn't? What I'm saying they wouldn't distribute them to police units.

  • big brother scenario is scary, future doesnt look good...corrupt cops can be talked out by greedy corporatist to use this for malevolent ends..no way i want my privacy to be compromised like this.....dislike button.

  • sounds like a police state

  • Imagine you are jogging on the street and arrested by police due to the warning given by the cctv when it captures your movement

  • Why can't they just say the hacker carry out a Denial of service attack

  • pop of ppl be 9 billion already in year 2050

  • at 5:00 they're using P90s!!!!!!

  • The idea that we can be detected easily with surveillant camera is frightful for me because it seems like our privacy or personal rights are invaded

  • @PeaceOfTruth

you should only be fearful if you commit a crime, so be a good citizen now :P

  • What selfish little bitch, instead of saying sorry to his grandpa for getting him in trouble the first thing he say is can you help me??!! Want to punch the kid in the face.

  • Ya know all those banks that wrecked the country? Instead of botnetting some gambling website, why not teach those criminal bankers a lesson and force them to repay that money. See they won't do anything useful. It's always juvenile and obnoxious bs...shut down the corruption in the world. Be heroes of the universe. Maybe they're not quite as smart as they like to fancy themselves.

  • When they do something productive that benefits the people in the world, then maybe they'll be able to impress me. Until then, they're about as useful as a cockroach.

  • Maybe by 2057 hackers will have grown out of being useless cowardly douchebags who annoy the piss out of people and do something useful, like monitor governments, enforcement, political leaders, etc to and intervene if they end up about to pull something what will damage the country. But nooo, hackers apparently are too chickenshit to bring own the irs and just want to be obnoxious babies spamming people with mindless nonsense.

  • Somehow I think that there's no computer viruses in 2057. At least it's very very hard to make any ,:/ ..Most operating systems are based on some older o.s like unix or some shit like that.. so that's why it's so easy to hack them but almost nobody makes viruses for phones even while they don't usually have virus protection

  • How does hackers enter a computer? Thou a Trojan... how does the Trojan get downloaded into your computer? If the user freely goto free pics p0rn websites, where Trojans get downloaded into the computer without the users knowledge. I have proof!

  • If a city is more protected than a federal building, that's just sad.

  • lol this computer scientist guy is speakin greek... im greek and i understand him, greeks will discover everythin wont they...

  • Don't like all those cameras....not at all.

  • FN P90... my favorite gun. and it's still there... maybe its P9something higher but, anywho.

  • They are seriously portraying millions of camera's in a city as something positive?

  • @Snitsie You'll appreciate them when the person who kidnapped your child is caught using these.

  • @lerkerofthenight Their invading everyones privacy and it's possible to do absolutely horrible stuff with it. That scares me more than a nonexisting kidnapped kid.

  • @Snitsie Honestly, dude, what is a camera going to see you doing in public? People seem to think that they're important enough for the government to want to pay attention to.

  • Because it's a world divided into good guys and bad guys hahaha!

  • Damn those hackers.

  • This city seems kinda cool in someways but I don't like the idea o so many damn camera's.

  • i dont want this! i hate the city.

  • so 2057 will be the new 1984.... weeee....

  • i kinda hope i live forever

  • puffy coats are cool the 2057

  • the city's central server is better defended than the pentagon...wat.

  • What pisses me off about 0:36 is that the hacker's "terminal" is just an IRC chat.

  • 0:38 you can see the word ninja

  • milane ellinika oti na nai kai gamo tis xores eimaste xexe :p mexri kai stin texnologia (y) etsi etsi

  • Lol, Bot attack?

Thats out dated when now you can go straight in around thier shit through simple Scripting xD

  • 5:03 P90's @_@

  • yeah, police state 4 ^^

Still weapons in the future and the people are monitored. Dont looks like a civilised world ^^

look up for the venus project... and jacque fresco. I think he knows what he is talking.

    greets

  • if there's ever a cyber war, the nerds will have a field day

imagine a spotty shut-in being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for "courage in the face of epic spam"

  • Hey, it takes courage and resolve to sit in front of the computer screen for 48 hours straight countering epic amounts of SPAM.

  • @JK666AB Purple hearts for carpal tunnel.

  • Imagine google earth working in real time and without filtering out any people. Each one of us will be represented online by a single process that keeps track of where we are, what we're up to, and our vital signs. Don't want to be part of it? No problem, but good luck getting health insurance or a job. Who wants to trust someone who isn't willing to be watched by machines for their own protection where there are people you don't have to trust?

  • One wonders how many times in the future the government will take away our freedoms with the justification, "It's for your protection?"

  • It's the lessor of two evils, the alternative is to continue the way we are heading; where countless entitles maintain databases about you with little or no security to protect it and an economic incentive to find ways to use it to influence your behavior. Just because Uncle Sam has nuclear weapons doesn't mean he'll use them against us. The faster our governments make it illegal to maintain information about us without registering it with them the safer we'll all be.

  • ya i would hate for a dictator or a rogue corporation to take control of the system then we are fucked

  • @ananiasacts

Then those who reject such things will proabibly end up in either 2nd (depends if the country hasn't adapted to using such technology) or 3rd class countries...or maybe even in established nations like Zanzibar Land (8B Is my nerdiness showing?).

  • How are they gonna recognize a bank robber wearing a ski mask? For daily usage a simple cap, sunglasses and a scarf to cover the mouth would do a trick.

  • it doesnt really matter... if they get a picture of the perpetrator, the computers will simply download the image and track down their location and heading.

  • they would just follow his every move from the bank using satelites and the millions of cameras and scanners where could u go if they are always watching

  • The child actor is extremely annoying in the story.

  • In 2057 people will have over stuffed jackets.

  • people often predict the future too exaggeratedly..

I mean about 50 years ago people think we'll have flying cars and spaceships that'll commute us to Mars or Saturn.. and we'll have Rosie from the Jetsons as housekeepers

  • People have much more knowledge about science and the future than people did back then.

  • right

  • Great Britain is leading the way! Great! :(

Leading the way on spying on its citizens yeah... You can't go outside in this country without being caught on camera.

I agree with "exemytheia", i'm moving to the woods.

  • in finland there's some science place and there's camera where you can take picture of yourself and it search that is there any one who looks almost same like you. and if you go there again later it finds your old picture. so that technology is already made. and you don't even have to make same smile or something it regonizes you if you look at it and press the button

  • Damn it...I think I'll move to the woods in the future..this is not good.

  • Still use p90s in the future, 50 years.

  • "It's pretty easy to hack into an unprotected network..." Well it's pretty easy to kill someone w/ a gun if he's not protected as well...

    Thanks Mr. Obvious...really, thanks.

  • That kid's such a shitty actor

  • and the Black people are where again??? *looks through video frantically*

  • oh they're are in the govt.. these are just normal ppl.. Black ppl are more important in 2057..

  • i would think so as we do have a pres who is, whaddaya know, black! lol

  • Obama is mixed race not black...

  • weelllll yaaaaaa

    white momma uh huh

    white grandmomma yea yea

    he's a YT!

  • he is still a person of color

  • i'm not liking this tech. future.why build it.

  • Why can't they just put all those services on different networks? Have analog telephones, tvs, & radios like we have them today, instead of getting everything solely from the internet?

  • maybe cos we will be transfering so much data that mediums like phonelines... radio waves will not be capable of.

    internets cheap ,fast, reliable?

  • i agree seems awfully stupid. If the power goes out or someone uses a Electromagnetic pulse or emp weapon the consequences would be to ghastly to discuss.

  • So in fifty years, the world will be like Reboot! lol!

  • If something like this ever becomes reality as it likely will the ultimate weapon would no longer be nuclear, bio or chemical weapons. It would be a weapon very similar to the Goldeneye EMP pulse weapon. If one is able to create a static or slowly changing emp pulse it becomes unstoppable.

  • well hacker sometimes teach the people how to hack mostly here some hacker try to hack games moastly is ok to hack games but its still wrong mostly hacking the goverment is wrong

  • Big brother from 1984? ... :X

  • who the hell would want to live like this. JESUS, talk about big brother....!

  • Google is ruining youtube!

    HOW COULD THEY REMOVE THIS!?

  • maradona is the best maradooooooooo goal of diego

  • Those P90's in 2057 will be 70 years old, its like police today using thomson machine guns.

  • I bet AKs will still be in use.

  • defend americas defense.Considering the way things have been recently going i doubt amercas gonna be the world superpower in 2057

  • We live in interesting times. There are 2 possibilities, either one of the presidential candidates saves what he can of the U.S economy and they enter a long painful recession or he fails and the U.S enters a deep depression comparable to the 1930's. MY personal opinion is that Obama will be the better choice for the economy which is at the moment the most pressing concern.

  • @Striden12 you, and everyone else, should know that a president isn't the only one in charge, he can't do all he wants nor can he make miracles

  • @Striden12 How's that working out?

  • @Striden12 if we get obama out we could fix the economy. He doesnt know what hes doing we have to face facts. Of course it all starting going to hell when the democrats got into congress in 2007.... but eh i dont want to start a political fight on this video. Americas economy will remain the largest for many many many years to come though.

  • @Striden12 Look how your president turned out. Fail.

  • @oreolvrs1987 by then i could be the superpower is being shift back to europe by then

  • "I wanna devise a virus

To bring dire straits to your environment

Crush your corporations with a mild touch

Trash your whole computer system and revert you to papyrus

I want to make a super virus

Strong enough to cause blackouts in every single metropolis

Cuz they dont wanna unify us

    So fuck it total anarchy

Can't nobody stop us" -Deltron 3030

  • So 50 years in the future the cops are using old P90 machine guns?

  • maybe bad guys are the good guys u fucking asshole

  • what a surprise the directors are german satanists named:

    Meike Hemschemeier

    Lars Montag

  • anybody notice the satanic emblem on the government officers clothing at 4:45?

the odds that they would use red as well as a huge emblem which looks like a face with horns and a beard while not being some kind of satanists is very low.

  • What are you stupid?

  • @Striden12 The technological singularity will be lead by the antichrist. So 12354blahbla is on to something. The world will be forced to take microchip implants for currency, aka mark of the beast. It is coming....they say these technologies won't be here until 2057...they already have these technologies perfected, two words- Nikola Tesla.

  • @kristimjlove God fucking damnit, stop holding us back with your fucking mythical, sadistic God! Jesus Christ almighty, all it takes is ONE drug trip 2000 years ago to turn people into dangerous fanatics.

  • @Striden12 red eye flashes twice

  • @12354blahbla I agree with striden12. Are you so blind as to misidentify a police badge symbol for the pentagram goat?

  • "We're gonna need people like me". What a humble man.

  • i love this show its so good!! Its gettin late and school is tomorrow...ahh!

  • damn that means nomore selling dope on the coner blocks anymore.

  • Get a Mac?

  • flying cars? asian people drive like shit in two dimensions nevermind 3! lol im korean and i know

  • HA HA!

  • i dont think thw whole city should be wired cause one computers crash althe time so the whole city will shut down like electricity and water supply it seems really stupid and too risky.

  • all of the problems brought up in this video can be solved and ARE being solved without centralization. what a bunch of statist propaganda.

  • Statist propaganda? Discovery channel? i don't see the link.

  • you dont know shit you faggot if you think DC is a statist propoganda showing channel you piece of shit

  • are you for real? I never said anything about the Discovery Channel being statist propaganda. I was simply referring to the proposed notion of a more extensive, centralized, and bureaucratic police force as a necessity to deal with the advancement of technology. That's all. Is the show intentionally trying to sway its viewers politically? OF COURSE NOT. But, intentional or not, it's still pushing the meme of big government.

  • wow

  • Before flying cars become the main method of transportation, whole city infrastructures will have to change and that will probably not be seen in our time. They could have just left that part out cause having flying cars in 50 years is just improbable. Though the idea is cool work should be continued on it.

  • Dammmnnn hackers will be the new terrorists

  • The only reason we don't have flying cars is because we don't need them, so the funding for them isn't there :(

  • 1984

  • In the future.. everything is by computerised. A slight glitch could cause the whole town/world a total blackout!

  • yes that's the danger we need the overcome, it will take a lot of security measures to insure it doesn't happen.

  • Computer technology is evoloving exponentially , i wouldnt be surprised to see float screens and intelligent robots within the next 10 years or less even. Hopefully stem cell research ban will be lifted to further aid medical research. Conservatives eh? what can you do.

  • no, in the future they will have implanted chips in our bodies

  • I doubt that we will have flying cars in 2057.

  • ditto...cuz

they said we'd have flying cars 50 yrs ago

  • There were flying cars several decades ago, but they weren't easy to put together from car to plane and you needed a pilots licence. As you might guess from never hearing about it, they weren't very popular.

  • same here, but were deffinitly going to have something like a cheap personal jet or airplane.

  • FYI there already are flying cars.

    So... shh
