To all lifters, use an arm blaster. You'll still be able to throw your back into but the blaster negates cheating. That muscle density, while beautiful for some now, will look like crap when your older.

But if you're swinging that much, would it not be the same thing to get a lighter weight, but doing it with proper form? In fact, would it not be BETTER, because the proper form and full muscle contraction help in getting a more rounded and fuller muscle?

wtf??? Branch does 315 for anout 15 reps on the shoulder press. If he did 2 seconds up and 4 down, the only way he would get two reps out is if he rest paused it!!!!!! How dumb are you? Listen Muppet Brain, white fibres respond to heavy weights and low reps. If u can move it quick, it wasn't heavy!!! However, if you do move a heavy weight fast, you used momentum. Strong men move jumbo jets but after SLOWLY getting it moving, they RELY on momentum!!! Red fibres respond to light weights or high reps. Lifting slower and under control makes a weight feel heavier and removes the risks. Branch Warren could do to read this before his next injury. Get it now???!!!!
I am getting very bored with dealing with your one brain cell. Let me 'take youback to school' with some basic stuff. Anyone who gets 2nd at the olympia is clearly VERY genetically gifted. Some people may argue with how genetically gifted branch is in terms of classic shape but he certainly is in terms of size. Anyhow, a gentically gifted person can literally go to the toilet/climb the stairs and get quad stimulation. After a while they need more stimulation so they go to leg ext then...TBC
they are doing 20 sets of legs and everything is fine. Suddenly they have gotten so big and strong that the body cannot recover from such a workload so all progres stops. This numb nut doesnt have the guts or brains to reduce his training under the overtraining threshold so what does he do? Thats right, he starts using steroids. Suddenly he is like a raw beginner again, piling on size just by 'thinking' about training. So he gets bigger and stronger, still with his 'Arnold style' 20 sets...TBC
until, yes you guessed it, his dosage is not enough to let him keep gaining. So he increases his dosages even more. Before you know it, he is massive with an even bigger jaw/head, and many injuries and a huge gut. Look at Ronnie Coleman for the best example n branch isnt far behind. Look at Branch's face on some of his early youtube stuff and look at it now. You cant even recognise the guy. HAVE YOU GOT IT NOW????!!!!!!
Each has their own way of training, Jay does train smarter though, more for injury prevention, Branch had something like 3 injuries in one year due to his training, Jay didnt have 1, Jay already has the mass, he is trying to bring up weaker parts now, become even more symmetrical, and bring out the definition in his body.
How smarter? Its all about intensity and quiet frankly Branch trains with more intensity than Jay. Jay being Mr. O has nothing to do with his workouts being "smarter".
The only thing smart about a workout would be to not overtrain and do too much volume, but these don't need to worry so much about it anyway.

being the second best bodybuilder in the world this year, I wouldn't tell him to stop or leave my gym. Dude is a monster and a nice guy in person, just don't get in his way while he's lifting lol. Even if his form isn't picture perfect, he's an intense trainer and he'll get an O.
the problem is that warren doesn't have long arms which looks unproportionate to his big torso. He is to mesomorphic probraly on the meso-endo side

Why do these guys have to drop the weights on the floor? something to do with not wanting to waist the extra energy by re-reacking them or what. I see these big guys take four 45lb plates off a bench bar and just drop em from 4 feet up straight drop I would be pist if I owned the gym motherfucker re reack that shit

His training is not intense but his use of momentum and swinging is. Stop this fukkin stupid myth of him being a hard trainer. He is fukkin not!!! He is huffing and puffing and swinging so much that it looks like he must be putting in so much intensity. What BS!! If he were to get rid of all momentum and take sets to failure then, then what the fukk would he be? Exactly...a hard fukkin trainer, not the shit he does here. You don't make any sense, do you understand how long it takes to get to this level of strength? if he doesn't train hard why does he have so much muscle and strength? whatever momentum to failure BS you are talking about is stupid, just swinging weight around that you can't use won't get you to this level. it's actually more effective to curl like this

you can't momentum 85 pound dumbbells for that many reps, you either can curl them or you can't. that is real strength and training you are seeing here.

wtf??? Branch does 315 for anout 15 reps on the shoulder press. If he did 2 seconds up and 4 down, the only way he would get two reps out is if he rest paused it!!!!!! I suppose it takes effort to swing a heavy weight but its not the target muscle thats doing the work, thus defeating the point of the exercise. How many more torn muscles does this guy want?

@thomasmichael1 don't say shit, there are 2 kind os muscle fiber.. doing it slowly will make the red fiber grow.. doing it fast will make the white fiber grow. The white ones are 25% bigger than the red.. So it's better to do fast do get bigger

How dumb are you? Listen Muppet Brain, white fibres respond to heavy weights and low reps. If u can move it quick, it wasn't heavy!!! However, if you do move a heavy weight fast, you used momentum. Strong men move jumbo jets but after SLOWLY getting it moving, they RELY on momentum!!! Red fibres respond to light weights or high reps. Lifting slower and under control makes a weight feel heavier and removes the risks. Branch Warren could do to read this before his next injury. Get it now???!!!!

I am getting very bored with dealing with your one brain cell. Let me 'take youback to school' with some basic stuff. Anyone who gets 2nd at the olympia is clearly VERY genetically gifted. Some people may argue with how genetically gifted branch is in terms of classic shape but he certainly is in terms of size. Anyhow, a gentically gifted person can literally go to the toilet/climb the stairs and get quad stimulation. After a while they need more stimulation so they go to leg ext then...TBC

they are doing 20 sets of legs and everything is fine. Suddenly they have gotten so big and strong that the body cannot recover from such a workload so all progres stops. This numb nut doesnt have the guts or brains to reduce his training under the overtraining threshold so what does he do? Thats right, he starts using steroids. Suddenly he is like a raw beginner again, piling on size just by 'thinking' about training. So he gets bigger and stronger, still with his 'Arnold style' 20 sets...TBC

until, yes you guessed it, his dosage is not enough to let him keep gaining. So he increases his dosages even more. Before you know it, he is massive with an even bigger jaw/head, and many injuries and a huge gut. Look at Ronnie Coleman for the best example n branch isnt far behind. Look at Branch's face on some of his early youtube stuff and look at it now. You cant even recognise the guy. HAVE YOU GOT IT NOW????!!!!!!

Each has their own way of training, Jay does train smarter though, more for injury prevention, Branch had something like 3 injuries in one year due to his training, Jay didnt have 1, Jay already has the mass, he is trying to bring up weaker parts now, become even more symmetrical, and bring out the definition in his body.

How smarter? Its all about intensity and quiet frankly Branch trains with more intensity than Jay. Jay being Mr. O has nothing to do with his workouts being "smarter".
The only thing smart about a workout would be to not overtrain and do too much volume, but these don't need to worry so much about it anyway.
