very nice. I just got the "beatles for jazz guitar" and their version starts with an Amaj7 which sets this tune up for some nice changes. When your playing around try this - Amaj7, A9, A6, Amaj7#5. The melody is C#, B, A, G#. Just for fun. I cant find anyone who starts it like that. Take care tom

Please help. I want one of those guitars and I heard the slg100nw model that you have is nylon but the nut is narrower to allow strumming is that correct?

I am not sure about the other models since I only own this model and never tried others. And I don't do strumming. I think you should ask Yamaha or shops.

It depends where you are now. The number of people doesn't matter. It is probably much harder to play at gig where there is only one person sitting.

I just bought a yamaha SLG 100N...frankly it's replacing my classical guitar altogether - I use it for everything. I notice you only use your silent guitar on some of your videos, is there a reason? or is it just subject to your whims

I use a "real" guitar recently because I feel more comfortable playing. I still use SLG for late night practicing. Although I don't work for Yamaha, I hope you enjoy your tool.

on certain weeks I can barely get any sleep, on other weeks I can get plenty. It's not a perfect system, but it could be worse.

That sounds very tough. But be careful. I once had a huge translation job (about 1500 pages in three months), so I decided to sleep every other day. The job was done alright, but I was attacked by panic disorder right after. I still need to carry pills around with me all the time. (I rarely take them lately though.)

oooh, thanks. Yeah I'll try to be careful about my sleeping habits. I'm a psychology major so I've read about some of the illnesses that are related to lack of sleep/stress. Stress relief is one of the main reasons why I play guitar, actually.
