I'm a big fan of Indian Days. Just on his work ethic alone. It doesn't matter whether he's running in handicaps, listed, G3, G2, or G1 races? You still always get a very determined effort out of this horse.
This race is a good example of how dominant horses from Ireland and Great Britain really are on the turf when they ship to countries like Turkey, Italy, or Germany to race in their G1-G2 level stakes. The first 4 finishers in this race, Indian Days, Sri Putra, Buzzword, and Hallicarnassus, all hail from either Ireland or Great Britain. They totally dominated the Turkish horses. I personally think Pan River is the only horse I've seen from Turkey good enough to compete at this level. JMO.
I sure give Indian Days a ton of credit. Much like Dangerous Midge, he toiled in the handicap division for sometime. But always gave such a good effort that he eventually out-ran his handicap mark. Ending up top weight in almost every handicap he enters now. I think listed stakes, G3's, and G2's of this caliber suit Indian Days very well now. I do, however, think both he and Sri Putra were a bit above either's ability racing in the G1 Hong Kong Vase and G1 Hong Kong Cup. JMO.
