Buckets of talent, that is obvious.. but I think you are nervous here, and you rush it a little. I think you should slow it down a lot, and dare to put more oomph on your voice when you sing. You have a great, pure voice, but lack confidence in your ability...therefore, your phrasing suffers the most.

Confidence in your ability will automatically improve phrasing (in his ARMS she fell).

Further, I'd suggest you use the same key, but not capo so high as it competes with your voice. I played along with your vid in the same key but with no capo, and you sound sooooo much better with some bottom-end backing. Trust me...lol.

You can have it on any from 5 to 7 I'd say, depending on the notes your voice can reach. Just see which one suits you best! Mine was played on the 7th fret, which I believe is the way Eva Cassidy performed it. Hope this helps!
