  • 4 cylinder is good enough. It still has a sport suspension compare to malibu, camry, accord, and sonata

  • I might buy one of these soon. I currently own a 2006 Toyota Corolla that I bought new back in 2005. Good Car with no problems, but it's starting to feel a bit cramped ( I'm 6ft tall), so I need a bigger car like this with more legroom & power. I like the looks of it better than the Camry & Accord.

  • How cud u not love it

  • And I recommend if you want a more spirited drive that you get the. 3.5se with sport suspension, teck package which includes bluetooth, nav etc.... I have black leather with a 6 speed manual, I do not like Auto myself, very fast with the 6 speed.

  • it is nice but i do not like the rear

  • let me tell you alittle somthing about nissan my friend they are good cars i have 2 of then with a lot of miles on it and i havent had a problem till last week when it started to get over heated that happens alot specially to american cars so please i dont like when people start talking about nissans that way so if u got something to say then say it .... good day

  • do not buy this car read the reviews alot of people are having big problems bad mpg motor is not getting oil to top end on start up this car is a piece of shit

  • I want to get this for my first car.

  • am driving a nissan altima and this car is just spectacular.very smooth and comfortable.

  • glad to hear dat, nissan is da best !

  • We have a 09 Altima 2.5S right now. It is a rental that we got because our 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES is jacked up. The Altima is a very smooth car. It is probably going to be our next car

  • get 2.5 SL, you like the 2.5 S, but you will love the SL, i have it, and its sooo good, make sure you get that package with CVT package too, you wont stop driving it!

  • SL is bit out of my budget! S is good enough for me

  • its only 2100

  • the extra 3 grand to me is alot! I'll be satisfied with the 2.5S.

  • I do not like Auto myself, very fast with the 6 speed. But if you drive in the city a lot I suppose CVT is the way to go, won't even spill your coffee, no gears so it is extremely smooth. I wanted a 4 door sporty sedan and this car does the trick, no 6 speed available in the Camry, 4 door Accord, Mazda 6, Malibu. love my car no regrets.

  • I'm not a huge fan of most foreign cars (ie: Toyota and Honda) but I could totally drive an Altima. Hot car.

  • would that be because you're an idiot?

considering Honda and Toyota rank the highest in quality and reliability. not to mention Toyota itself is the biggest car maker in the world.

  • Which proves?

  • that you're an idiot who prefers shitty American made cars than "foreign" best quality cars made in Japan, Germany e.t.c...

our cars rank the lowest on every level.

  • You are overusing the word "idiot."

Anyway, even Jeremy Clarkson agree's that most pacific rim cars lack personality and soul. Not everything is about interior plastic quality, honestly I could give a fuck. Give me a car that can pass a moped and I'm happy. Thanks for calling me and idiot for stating my personal opinion. Get a clue.

  • Ok, sorry for the usage of the word "idiot". don't take it personal. but what do you mean "most pacific cars lack soul"? it's all a matter of perspective. as long as the car is of the highest quality( in terms of design, equipment and reliability) that's all it needs to matter.

  • Yea and Toyota has the most recalled car's since history! Not to mention their cars killed a family, and have injuried several, and left many scared to get back into their not knowing if the gas pedal is gonna get stuck.

  • HMMM "Honda and Toyota rank the highest in quality and reliability."

Toyota? one word... RECALL. (and they've been sitting on this problem for years.)

...and Honda treats their employees like crap.

Neither company will ever get my money. But that's just an opinion.

P.S. Buick regularly ties with Lexus @ #1 for quality.

You need to do some reading.

  • Too bad when you sit in a Toyota, your mostly likley to ramp off a clif due to no brakes...

  • wut did they do to the engine to make it faster cuz my 04 beats my friend's 07....even more now since i put in a nismo CAI

  • bought the Altima yesterday. Its my first car, I hope it turns out to be something good.

  • I can assure you it will, I have a 98 Maxima GLE, its got 160 miles and its running so strong I cant find a reason to buy a new car other than safety advancemnts such as side airbags. I have had many hondas and driven many Hondas and the Nissan build quality is so much better. Honda cars fall apart and feel delicate like you can break them if your not carefull but Nissan is tough as nails. The build quality on a Nissan is superior to Honda youll leanr this the longer you have your Altima!

  • the malibu hates you too!

  • So what are you driving?

  • I drive an '01 Altima and that car rocks!

  • THIS IS AWESOME I WANT 1 BADLY! i like the taillights its looks cool!

  • my mom has one its vverey fuckin cool and it glids across the sreet

  • My Dad just rented one of these a couple days ago. I was able to drive it too, I was really impressed with it. We even had the 2.5L version, but my Dad and I had both thought that we were driving the 3.5 because the power and strength of the engine is outstanding. I love it, feels like you're driving a lexus or infiniti.

  • Dads getting 2008 altima couple just in time for my license woooot

  • Altimas Rock! Style and sportiness combined.

  • Nissan rock.
